Vodafone India — Unauthorized activation of Value Added Services | |||||
Sir/Madam, I have been charged for Value Added Services which were activated without my permission for number [protected] VDS ULTRAMOVIES Rs 5 Video Dictionary Service Rs 35. and renewal etc., We get a message to reply with STOP to deactivate. But the SMS does not work and we are asked to reach out to customer support. I have asked the customer support for the reason but am not convinced why such unauthorized charges are being made by third parties and charged to vodafone bill without vodafone or its customer consent. if vodafone is already aware of such sites then they should publish the list upfront. Please request you to look into the matter and 1) Refund the amount charged so far and 2) Correct the process of SMS to deactivate the service. What is the point if the service is not activated even after sending the SMS of STOP 3) Display the list of such sites where unauthorized billing is added. Was this information helpful? | |||||
