Vodafone India — Unnecessary roaming charges in postpaid bill | |||
Hi. I'm using vodafone number [protected] which belonged to mumbai circle earlier and now ported to gurgaon circle on 10th feb, 2016. In last week of December, 2016 i had activated monthly roaming plan of 75 Rs. and the last bill i received from mumbai vodafone generated on 11th feb, had charged roaming plan charges and also the roaming charges. i called gurgaon customer care to address the issue but they say as the number belonged to mumbai circle when that bill was generated they dont have any info on the charges applied. Today, i visited the vodafone store in gurgaon and your executive there confirmed me that if i activate the monthly roaming plan it wont be deactivated unless i raise a deactivation request which i never did. so, again i called the mumbai customer care and the guy is saying as the number is deactivated from mumbai circle so he can't do anything. I dropped email as well but they just mentioned as the plan was deactivated to roaming charges are applied but when i mentioned them that i never requested for plan deactivation. they never responded back. it has been 2 weeks now. and because of this i could not pay the bill and unnecessarily late payment charges are being added further. please do the needful. If this is how you deal with your old customers then fine. terminate the number forever and forget about the bill.
I really must say Vodafone is a thug company.
