[Resolved] Vodafone India — unsanctioned deduction from vodafone mobile balance | |||
I have been using India services for more than 5 years. Everything was swell until a few days back when I received a message which reflected a reduced balance in my account subject to activation of a service called 'WWE zone' which of course I did not activate. To further investigate, I called the Vodafone customer care and told them about the unsanctioned deduction for the same. They agreed to deactivate the service and process the refund within 24hrs. After not receiving the refund within 24hrs, I called them again to inquire, like before. Only this time the employee refused the refund and said, "Last time, You must have forced the agent to refund the money!". The "Last Time" he was referring to was a call barely 3 minutes long (Including their waiting period) in which I allegedly forced the agent to give money for a service I hadn't initiated but was active since October 2018 and costs 90/mo. He refused to transfer my call to a different agent or to a higher authority and file a complaint. Frustrated by the agent's buffoonery that had taken up too much of my time, I hung up.
