Vodafone India — upgradation of higher rate plan without confirmation from customer which causing extra billing

Sir/madam,
My postpaid number is [protected] and [protected] and this regarding postpaid number [protected].

I made payment of rs 117/- twice for my postpaid mobile number [protected] on

1. I had received a message at 05:36 hrs on 17 aug 2018 regarding receipt of request for plan change. (Whereas no request was initiated by me)

2. Immediately another message was sent by vodafone regarding stopping of earlier plan. (Without my consent)

3. Again a message was sent by vodafone regarding activation local and std - 400- minute pack. (Without my consent)

4. Once again a message was sent by vodafone regarding deactivation of local and std-200- minute pack. (Without my consent)

5. Again a message was delivered by vodafone regarding activation of red basic plan. (Without my consent)

6. Thereafter, 2-3 congratulatory messages were sent by vodafone which were ridiculous and wastage.

7. Against above all, i lodged a complain for cancellation of forcefully newly activated plan with registration number[protected] at 0553pm on same date.

8. After lodging of complain, again i had received a message regarding activation of internet service, whereas, your vodafone service knew that i use a normal mobile set which do not any other service except calling facility.

9. On 18 aug 2018 at 0549 pm i had received a message from vodafone regarding attendance of complaint lodged on 17 aug 2018.

10. On 09 sep at 0202 pm i had received a message regarding outstanding bill payment of rs 100.22 whereas, i made advance payment and keeping rs 117/- balance.

11. On inquiry, i came to know that the request for deactivation of red basic plan with registration number[protected] at 0553pm was not carried out and hence i have received extra billing.

12. Thereafter, i again registered complain with registration number[protected] at 1058 pm on 12 sep 2018 for the same. Now, the operator has deactivated the red basic plan but refused for reversal of extra billing payment which was illogical and forceful. The operator told me to lodge the complaint through online on corporate care.

Conclusion is this, when i registered complain for deactivation of red basic plan, it was not deactivated immediately. Due to this, all this happened
