Value Added Services Cheating Dear Sir, I am a customer of Vodafone with number #[protected]. On receiving the bill during the month of March, Vodafone has charged me for Value Added Services at 90 Rs each for a total of 180 Rs. They said that it was activated on 19th Feb and 23rd Feb but I had not subscribed to any such service. On receipt of the Bill on the 9th of March I called the customer care and they reversed one of the amounts totaling 90 Rs since they also agreed that I may not have done it. On receiving the bill in the month of April, again Vodafone has charged me for the same Value Added Services of 90 each totaling 180 Rs. On calling the customer care they said that it was a monthly service and since I called in the middle of the bill cycle the would charge for the whole month. There are two cases of cheating here; • Charging for Value Added Services with no consent from the customer nor any proof of the same. • Charging again for the next month stating that the billing cycle had started. The only I could make out that VAS was activated was through the bill, on the receipt of the which I called customer care. If Vodafone charges me again based on this it is cheating someone twice using the same reason. It is like stabbing the customer in the back with the same knife twice. I request you to take strict action against Vodafone as not every customer may be financially well off or educated enough to bear these charges and refute the same.
