Vodafone India — vodafone looting people in the name of aadhar linkage | |||
I have been prepaid customer of vodaphone from 2008. To be complient of aadhar linkage requirement, i took appointment in local office. I took token in their office and waited. As per the process, i received an otp from vodophone for linking my mobile with aadhar number. When i submitted my aadhar number, computer system found that there was a mismatch in the address which is on the aadhar card and in their system. Software they were using did not allow adhar linkage to happen. So i was told to go for post paid connection for 4 months which starts from 300 per month, so that they can accept my address as in aadhar instead of old old one along with a fee deposit of 500 rs. I think it is insane of mine to accept that offer because my monthly bill is only around 100rs. Representative rejected my application to link my telephone number with my aadhar no because of mismatch of address. I am sure govt wants to improve security of our nation by this exercise, but corporates like vodafone use this opportunity to loot people in the name of aadhar linkage. What a shame.
