Vodafone India — wrong information about product

Hi,

My name is sukesh marla.

September 4 i received a call from one person from vodafone about new new plan. Her name was priya and mobile no was [protected].
Here is the detail of the plan she shared
Monthly rental 349 (Lifetime) (It is actually 399 plan but for idea porting customer 50rs additional discount)
Unlimited incoming + outgoing (Lifetime)
Free 1gb usage of 4g internet everyday (Lifetime)
100 sms every month (Lifetime)

I am author + trainer by profession and keep travelling across india so i requested for a plan where unlimited incoming and outgoing will be free across india. She said in that case only plan available is 649.
I said, it wont be feasible for me because my current plan is better and able to cater my requirement.

I used to like vodafone personally, so if suitable plan was available i would have thought about porting.

They called me again few times with same number and few times with another number [protected].
They made me talk to one of their senior mr. Roshan as well (Mobile no is [protected]). He said - one patch will be activated from their side which will cost additional 75rs and after that all over india all incoming and outgoing will be free.
So monthly rental will become 349+75+tax.

I said how should i confirm the same once sim got activated. He said exactly same plan will be shown in myvodafone app and my bill.

I said ok.

They sent their person to my place. He collected all information. I asked him for plan sheet. Surprisingly that sheet didn't had any such (349) plan. I spoke to roshan again, he said its a special plan. No need to anything worry (Just to note i again repeated the same plan to confirm, including 75rs unlimited all over india outgoing plus incoming).

Few days passed, no update on sim activation (Old one was still working). I called them (Roshan - the senior). He said some wrong input was done by the guy who collected information and handed sim card. He asked me to send documents again online. I send him via whatsapp. Again i conirmmed same plan in whatsapp. He said "yes".

After few days, sim got activated. First thing i done is downloaded myvodafone app. It was showing very different plan.
499 monthly rental
5gb monthly internet
100 sms
I tried to call roshan (Switch off). I called call center. They confirmed the same 499 plan. I asked them about email id where i can raise complaint. They gave it and suggested to talk roshan once before raising the complaint. May be as an executive he may have some special plan. I did the same (Next day). He said, nothing to worry. Plan will be reflected in myvodafone app after 86hour. I said ok.

86 hours passed, no update.
More time passed no update.
I called him again. He said, he checked it and the plan he said is in the place, app is not reflecting it. But final bill show correct plan.
He said, his system is reflecting the correct plan. Just app is not getting updated. It will after first bill.
I said share the screenshot which is showing correct plan.

He said ok and never did, i asked several times. His reply is either he is out or he is busy with something (Month end).
As a professional i respected month end load and wait till month end.
Octover first week, i asked for screenshot. He said he will do it and havent done anything.

Days passed like this. Received bill today. Bill says it is 499. 100 rs discount for only first three months. Shocking.

I tried to call roshan - switched off. Called other two number - not reachable.

This is the complete story.

Additional 75rs to unlimited incoming + outgoing free across india
But i got some very different plan.

Its complete cheating. I called customer care. They took the complaint and asked me to go to vodafone care where i can get different plan (One plan is there of 399 rental with similar feature. Its 399 not 349 which i was promised + for that i have to visit vodafone store for the same + roaming incoming/outgoing is chargeable).

Now i am in a position where (As per customer care discussion) i cant port to another provider, i cant convert it to prepaid and i cant even disconnect my number. (Its the company policy)

It seems like vodafone company train there people to do such things (Because at the end they have policy which will ultimately trap customers)

Its not about wrong infromation here. There are many poor people in india for whom 100rs is too much. Who are not well educated. : (
How many such people who have cheated because of such things.

Right now the only solution i am interested in either disconnect or convert it to prepaid.
