Vodafone India — Wrong Information on Billing
I am using [protected], a Vodafone post paid number. My billing date and due date are 6th and 24th of every month. I was using a 2 GB internet pack and 199 talk plan. By the end of May 2015, Sankalan from Vodafone customer care, called me up for informing me about the internet data pack plan for 5 months, which will give me one month extra and the total charge is also less than what it would cost me if I pay every month. It was informed that if I activate that pack, the bill, which will be around 2500 INR, will be generated on 6 July and the due date will be 24 July. Hence I activated the pack. Now, from this month I started receiving sms for paying the bill, as it exceeded my credit limit, which is 1900 INR. I paid the bill that was generated on 6 June. I also received a call about that. I clarified that as the extra amount will appear in next month's bill, I will pay it in the next cycle. The customer care executive also agreed with me. Today at 10:49 am I received an sms that my services are interrupted and now I cannot use any of the services. I called the customer care helpdesk, but in a true sense, they are not helping at all. I spoke with Kanchan and Debashree Bera, who were constantly telling me that I have to pay at least 50% of the bill (before the billing cycle) to make my connection active again. Hence I have to pay the bill twice in this month, which was not intimated before. I request you to look into this manner and ensure that the customer care executive pass correct information. Thank you Regards, Shamba Mukherjee Was this information helpful?
