I had purchased IR package from Vodafone as I am a post-paid subscriber of Vodafone since last 16 years.
The package was for EU and US. However in 3 countries that I visited in EU it either did not work or never went beyond 3G, mostly on E. Repeated chats with service desk resulted in several hrs across 2 weeks in Europe wasted as nothing changed.
But I could not imagine how much worse it would get in US, where 90% of the time it never connected to any network. Resulting serious stress on travel and loss of time.

In spite of all the history of complaints, there has been no call back or even sympathy shown by Vodafone. Instead the bill has been sent with IR charges. A written complaint with all evidences of screen images and chat history has elicited no response from them. But the collection team keeps following on payment.
Its an absolutely bizarre level of service for an existing customer.
It seems like Vodafone is really keen for subscriber base attrition as a business goal.
