Hi Team,
On the 14th Dec I got a call from Rahul Das at 2pm who identified him self as the laywer for Vodafone and informed me as I need to do the payment of 12000 Vodafone pending bill within 7pm evening.
I informed him as what was the exact reason for me not paying the pending amount, but any How I managed to pay 5000 on 14/12/2013 receipt attached and I was informed by him as I need to pay the rest of the amount by Monday 16/12/2013.
I havent got any call from Vodafone on Sunday 15/12/2013
I got a call from Sunil on Monday 16/12/2013 at 11:00am to inquire about the payment not being processed and informed me to speak with Rahul Das immediately. I sopke with Rahul Das and informed that am still in the process of collecting the money. MR Das called my father and informed as if I will not pay then a legal notice will be charged against my name. He did called me back on the same day and asked if the payment has been done. I told him that I was not able to arrange the money so please proceed as per your process.
Rahul Spoke to me: That Fine there is no need of paying any amount I will forward a legal notice to your permanent address, I told him why will you forward it to my permanent address as am in Bangalore. I did informed him that you take my address and forward the notice to the Bangalore address as I am the customer. He just simply refused and Disconnected the call.
On 17/12/2013 I got a call from a name Kumar from Vodafone [protected] and he literally absued me like anything.
Again the called my Father and my Sister and abused them too.
I called Rahul Das and informed him as the conversation we had yesterday you were supposed to forward the notice to my permanent address and how come the Vodafone people are calling my Family and absuing them, he informed as you havent paid so we hasve forwarded the case to the recovery department. and they will call all your friends family and relatives and abuse them unless the payment is made. Is this what you called Customer Serivce
As I went through your policy it clearly states that if the customer is not in the scene then the reference sholud be contacted and be asked.. It has not been mentioned anywhere to call and directly abuse them directly.
I have informed Rahul Das to give me the contact details of the person who has called my Family and abused but he was least interested.
All my payments are cleared as off now..
My Main concern is about Abusing my Dad and Sister as they were not at all in the scene. Does Vodafone gives the option if a customer is not able to make payment then the customer's family will be called and abused.
On inquiring they are not admitting that the call was made from Vodafone. But i have clear proof of all the numbers that was used.
