[Resolved]  Vodafone — Need refund my unsuccessful recharge

I have recharged my prepaid amount through Vodafone’s official website of Rs. 610.80/- on 9th Sept 2020. But my plan was not activated. So VI’s customer care person told me to do the recharge again. Then I did my recharge again on 10th Sept, 2020 through ‘VI App’ which was successfully activated.
Now it's almost 2 months & still company has not refunded my Rs. 610.80/-. Initially they told me that my payment was not received by them. For verification they asked me to submit the legal proof of my transaction. Hence I submitted all my ‘Bank statements’ in the asked format. After submitting all the proofs they agreed of the payment from my side. Later on, at the time of refund they disagreed and said that “I’ve done my recharge on wrong number.” Hence I am asking them for the legal proof for the same, but they are refusing to give me. So we had a con-call with that person (The one which company is saying I have recharged to that wrong no). On the con-call she denied of the anonyms recharge on her number. Hence later on, company is agreed to refund me full amount verbally (on customer care call) as a ‘Core Balance’ but now they are again refusing to give the commitment legally & also they are not ready to refund me.
As a customer, I have full rights to ask for the legal proofs and get my full refund. Because I don’t think fault is at my end. I think this is a well planned decision by the company itself.

VI Customer care person called me on 3rd November, 2020 and gave the confirmation of my refund amount Rs. 599/- on call only. But this time I requested them to keep my call on hold until I get a confirmation on e-mail about the same. I had to take this step because, this same scenario of not giving confirmation on Email, instead giving only verbal confirmation had happened previously 3 times. Hence our call was on hold for more than 15minutes & finally my entire amount was refunded and an Email regarding the same was received to me. THANK YOU so much ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ for taking prompt action in my case.
Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Yes thank you so much. Vodafone refunded my unsuccessful recharge amount as a Main Balance (which they agreed on phone.)
