Vodafone — Rs 128 deductions, to extend validity by 28 days (prepaid SIM)
On 22 July 2021, I contacted Appellate Office, Kolkata, for my Vodafone number XXXXX48702, with message “I noticed that for the past three months Rs 128 were deducted three times, ‘ to extend validity by 28 days’ ”. I consider this unusually excess deduction. So requested intervention and refund of excess deduction. As of September 09, 2021, the issue remains unresolved, and the deductions continue. A further contact to the Vi, reveals that the deduction was due to “avail the benefit of outgoing SMS service”. I did not request any such “outgoing SMS” service, so the excess deduction is unfair. I request your kind attention, refund the excess deductions and resolve the issue of “outgoing SMS service” or any additional service, as soon as possible. I have not requested for any service. So these additional services are imposed by the Vi, without my approval . Please keep the basic deductions required for extending validity of the SIM, and refund the excess deductions back to my prepaid balance. In case further details is required please write me : dr.sk.[protected]@gmail.com Sincerely SMI Was this information helpful?
