Dear Team, I have always believed in tata for its products and quality service. After using a LG ac for almost 11 years and after a long discussion with my mom we ordered one ton Voltas split AC from Croma, Mulund (W) on 3rd march 2017. Everything was good and after almost 6 months when the service technician visited for the first service he checked and told there's a little issue in the outside unit and said I will repair it now. Last month it was the second service which was due and when the technician came to check he said there's an issue with outdoor unit as there's a gas leakage in the unit we will repair and put the gas I asked him why is the issue arising just in a year he didn't have an answer. its just 10 months and the ac has started giving major issues like gas leakage god knows whats next. in my past experience with lg 10 years there were no issues never and the last year gas leakage started and after that the life for the ac was finish in a year. I don't want to loose money repairing gas leakage issues every now and then and get frustrated and change the ac. after the service review we did a complaint at voltas and the customer service just said please talk to the dealer and they will resolve the issue. As the product is in warranty and the outside unit being defective we requested for a change in unit. after many calls and 24 hours request from voltas and chroma service executives another technician came at my place and again checked the ac and then said we will take the unit repair it and give it back. I explained him about my previous experience with lg and said i dont want a faulty product and asked to speak to his manager if further explanation required, his manager denied of changing the unit and said we cant help it just leave. its been almost a month after my second service till now there's no resolution to my issue. When I contacted Croma they said it's not their job contact the company. When we contacted them they said contact service department. And when I spoke to the service department they are saying it can be repaired and not replaced. My split AC is under warranty. I have been given a faulty product. Why can't it be replaced? I never knew that u provide defective or faulty products and should I trust the brand again to buy any other product from TATA? I need a solution to this problem. Technician who visited my place - Mr.Amit parab from amit enterprise and he spoke to VV pawar his manager. attached are images of warranty booklet which mentions replacements terms and conditions and photos of bill and service date and the output unit. I hope its clear and I don't want the faulty product to be repaired I request for a change as written In the warranty terms and condition.
