Vu Televisions — vu 50" led tv display panel issue

Address:Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

I bought 50" vu led tv 2 years back and now there is a problem with the display panel (Vertical lines on the screen). Since the warranty is only for 1 year, the engineer says that its a display panel issue and they say that it can't be repaired and the panel has to be replaced which costs around rs. 25, 000/-. This is pure cheating from vu company as they are selling cheap quality products which don't even last for 2 years! Customer care team say that it happens in some tvs, but looking at the complaints, looks like with vu tvs, it happens with 50% of their tvs!!! It is definitely an issue of their poor manufacturing quality, so why should the customer be at loss!
Customer care also offered buyback option in that they will give you 3000 rupees only of your.

I request the consumer forum team to support and save me from such cheaters like vu tv.

Waiting for your positive response!

I bought 43" vu led tv 2 years back but after 6 month only display panel start problem and not coming any thing in screen then his engineers come and decide to replace due to it was the warranty period after competing of one year three months only the same display problem start . i called his customer care and his engineer visited my home and without touching the tv he said your display is gone . Again he suggested you replace the display panel which is cost nearly 20, 0000, and my visiting charge is 600 rs. just imagine within two years two tv display panel has gone it means there is a problem with the display panel . Since the warranty is only for 1 year, the engineer says that its a display panel issue and they say that it can't be repaired and the panel has to be replaced which costs around rs. 20, 000/-. I have got the same problem with my 43 inch VU TV. Have sent a mail to the service team.
I have got the same problem with my 43 inch VU TV
Absolutely right I strongly agree. They are selling cheap quality products. Their panels lasts only for 2 years. And now they are asking us to pay for panel cost which is equivalent to cost of a new tv. We could have selected a branded and reliable brand instead of a cheap marketing trap from Vu. They're selling very cheap quality products. You can check social media where they don't have account on twitter and they are not active on fb as well which clearly shows that they don't.want to face customers and they would like to.avoid complaints and customers voice. A low quality product and very cheap brand so don't buy the one and go for reliable and durable brands like Sony and Samsung.

I have got the same problem with my 40 inch VU TV.black screen only sound is coming.
visiting charges 500rs they are asking.very worst service and poor quality of VU tv brand.
i suggest people not to buy VU tv.only 1 and half year tv having problem.

i am not happy with this Brand VU tv.
I'm experiencing the same problem with vu tv; i bought it a year back
experiencing same problem in my vu tv. bought it just one yr back.
Cheaters VU Company. My 50 inch VU HD TV Display has gone completely White within two years...All my known people have got the same problem with VU...Flipkart is a partner in crime as they are selling such Fraud products.
My 55 inch VU tu after just 2 year not showing anything on screen only showing vertical lines on screen engineer said panel problem replace it panel price 25000 thousand what a cheater company bad product supply in Market how can I arrange 25000 thousand for panel
32 inch led tv is not getting on and blue color led shows on switchon button. But there is no display.
i bought a VU 43" FHD TV on 18.10.2017. first 2 years no problem at all. Now the TV becomes irresponsible on switching on. i called the customer care no. They given me a whatsapp no. i filed a complaint on whatsapp. They told my TV is out of warranty period. so it will be a chargeable service only. i accept for the same. The service person told only motherboard is a problem. i asked them to change it. They initially told price is 2200/- and after one week they told Rs.2760/-. i accept that also. after replacing the board they are telling that they will take the old board. i asked why you are taking the old board. but no response. they telling recycle policy this that and all.
i afraid that they may use this board with minor services and fit it to a another customer. so i told, no need of any new board. Vu is doing unethical practice in their business. All their service persons are not their staffs. They simply give it for contract. so beware of VU Tvs.
Hi All,
I purchased the Vu TV on 17th Oct. 2018, now a Horizontal Green line has been poped up on Screen, which clearly indicated failure of Screen.
This means the Vu Tv Manufacturers are selling the cheap quality of products, with 1.5 Year the issue has came.
After talking to service advisor they said an Technician will come to inspect the TV and the charges will be Rs. 900/-, these ### doesn't understand what they are saying.
By looking to TV panel anyone can say it's a Panel Issue, and it need to be replaced, they what the hell that technician is going to do, simply come to home and to say the same statement "it need to be replaced".
Really, i never expected such thing will happen.

I have Philips LED TV also which i purchased in 2012 and it is working very fine, till this time no issue.
Vu TV's Qualities are worst worst worst.
