Zomato — Cancelled the order after it was accepted and amount paid | |||||
I had placed an order online on Zomato and did the payment online. After getting a confirmation from Zomato regarding the order, about 20mins later I got a call from the customer care saying that the order will be cancelled as the delivery boy is unavailable . I told them I can wait for some more time and still they were like "Sir, It's no possible for us to even deliver it later, as may be later we'll again have to cancel the order. They said they are cancelling the order and my amount will be refunded in 2-7 days. I have had similar issues with Zomato several times earlier and same with my friends as well.A also I even got confirmation from the restaurant as they had called me. Now in Zomato it shows that the restaurant refused the order and not because Zomato doesn't have delivery boys. Zomato being such a big company and offering such poor services is something because of which they are losing there credibility. Never will I order from Zomato nor recommend it to others. I'm also facing same problem.its not good for all time.this kind of things creating same bad impression

The delivery boy said that, we are cancelling the order and your amount will be refunded in 1 day..But i haven, t got any message regarding that cancellation and amount not been credited to my account
I placed an order with Zomato for KFC on 03/02/2019.
The name of the rider is Deepak Bhatkar, when he reached KFC they told him that their server is down and cannot deliver my order.
I was told to cancel the order from my end and I did that, I requested for a refund and it was told to me on a chat that I cannot get the refund since I cancelled the order.
The fact here is KFC did not deliver and forced me to cancel my order from Zomato, youll just cheat people. lets meet in consumer court

Placed on order with Pizza Hut today. The amount was paid, order accepted. I did not receive the order even after 40 minutes. When I checked the status, the order was cancelled stating that I did not respond to the call from valet. And there will be no refund. I never received any call.

I had placed an order online on Zomato with concern pari family restaurant Sikandra Agra and did the payment through google pay . After getting a confirmation from Zomato regarding the order, about 20mins later I got a call from the customer care saying that the order will be cancelled as the delivery boy is unavailable . They tell me sir your order is cancelled. Due to network problem . I say for refund my money than he say sir send a mail to our company website than money will refund but till now there is no money will refund .

Very pathetic service.. I am not getting my refund money nor the order. They have confirmed the order and then cancelled giving reason tat I was not responding to there messages and calls.. Very disappointed service
