I, Akshay, age 27 years, resident of Gandhidham, would like to lodge a written complaint regarding a road accident that occurred on 26th October 2025 near Rotary Circle, close to Indian Oil Petrol Pump.
At around 2:30 to 2:45pm, a vehicle (scotty) bearing registration number GJ12EL0003, driven by Mr. Abdul Sama (age 17 years), collided with my motorcycle Honda CBR 150.
As per my observation and the statement given by Mr. Abdul Sama himself, he was using his mobile phone for map navigation while driving, as he works as a Zomato delivery partner. He also mentioned that the brake of his scotty had failed or was not working properly, which resulted in the accident.
The collision caused major damage to my vehicle / injury in my hand and leg, damage to my bike and injuries to me. The accident occurred due to his negligent and rash driving, as well as use of mobile phone while operating the vehicle.
It is further noted that the rider is only 17 years old (a minor) as per his driving license Date of year 2008, and hence not legally eligible to drive a motor vehicle as per the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
I therefore request your good office to kindly initiate an inquiry against Mr. Abdul Sama and take appropriate action. I also seek compensation for the damages and injuries caused due to this incident. Was this information helpful? |
