[Resolved] Zomato — Delay in food delivery by agent
I have ordered food on 7/09/23 from Ghar ka tadka at 6:25am. The restaurant was located 3km from my location and it was showing 32min delivery time.
After i ordered food the agent kept on delaying my order. I called him several times and he informed me he is having multiple business with multiple orders.
I also contacted customer care and they kept saying it will be delivered but the order kept on delaying.
I asked the customer care to cancel the order and issue the refund, but they denied and told me refund is not possible and told me to wait for the order. I waited for 1 hour and wanted to cancel and refund, but the customer care was giving me no refund or compensation.
I called the delivery agent several times but he kept delaying the order.
I received my order after at 7:35am after 1 hour 10min after a huge delay.
Order place at 6:25am
Order delivered - 7:25am
Delay - 1 hour 10min
Distance of restaurant from my place -3km
The food i received was totally cold since he took 1 hour to deliver. I received no compensation or refund for all this trouble.
I need complete refund of rs. 270 for this enormous delay and trouble with this order.
Kindly issue refund in original source, I don't need any coupons since i am not going to use Zomato again,
