I booked a table through the District by Zomato app at Palletis Spice Villa, AECS Layout, Bangalore for 8:30 PM on 17th July 2025, and I paid ₹120 in advance.
When I reached the restaurant with my friends, it was closed. I called multiple times — no response. This caused public embarrassment, mental stress, and completely ruined our plan. The platform and restaurant both failed in providing a basic service that was paid for.
I also:
Called the restaurant repeatedly — no response
Tried OTP login to report — not working
Emailed District/Zomato support — no reply at all
I have solid proof:
Booking confirmation
Call logs
₹120 bank deduction SMS
Despite all this, I haven't received any refund or support. This is serious negligence and consumer harassment.
I request a full refund of ₹120, and compensation of ₹5, 000 for the emotional distress, public embarrassment, and lack of support, which directly affected my dignity and peace of mind. Was this information helpful? |
