Zomato — faulty penalty charges applied without any notification | |||
Zomato support request (735336) This is regarding my order number: [protected] I placed an order on june 21 at 9:16 pm for rs. 128, then 2 mins later this order was cancelled and no yet accepted by the restaurant, i cancelled it and placed anther order from other nirulas at 9:18. I was’nt notified of any cancellation fees being charges at the time of placing order. Few days later when i try placing another order these cancellation charges are automatically applied to the new order and are unreasonably being forced. This is’nt a matter of rs. 128 but a way o[censored]nreasonably harassing the customer. For further details pls reach out to me at reema. [protected]@gmail.com On contacting the support team, they are just talking about the updated policy of zomato and don’t give any concrete solution or evidence of the chat that says i was informed about the cancellation charges. I have placed order on zomato for RS 470 and amount is deducted but order is not placed. The customer care numbers given are useless, not getting connected. I have deleted the app and will ask everyone to delete this [censored]. No customer care at all, just money making or looting
