I wish to lodge a formal complaint against Zomato regarding a highly unsatisfactory and unhygienic experience I faced on 17th May 2025. I had ordered Chilli Paneer from a restaurant named "Apni Rasoi" Amount 292rs. via Zomato (Order ID: #[protected]) using their platform. Upon opening the food, I found a bunch of human hair in it, indicating gross negligence in food safety and hygiene.
I immediately raised a complaint via the Zomato app and also emailed their support team, attaching both photo and video proof of the contaminated food. Despite this, Zomato refused to take appropriate action, simply stating that they cannot move forward with the case. Their response was both insensitive and unacceptable.
This is not a matter of taste or preference—it is a serious health and safety issue, and I am shocked that a platform like Zomato could ignore such an important concern.
I request the forum to kindly take strict action against the concerned food delivery platform and ensure that such incidents are not repeated. I am also seeking a full refund and compensation for the mental distress caused.
