Dear Zomato,
i have placed an order with you on March 18 th, 2.02 pm, order id -[protected] from the shop Ceylon parota, the expected order time was 30 mins, but the delivery partner delivered it with thin that, but i have never received the order untill now,
i tried CONTACTing the CUSTOMER service at 3:30 after 1:30 hrs, they said your order will be delivered in 15 mins, i asked them then why have they closed the delivery, but they didn't have the proper response .
they gave me the delivery partner number, i CONTACTed him directly, at first he didnt take my call before i reach to your CUSTOMER CARE, but later when CUSTOMER CARE called -
he picked up, actually your partner is doing a cheating against you and your company and doens't even follow the Zomato guidelines
they 2 people are using same Zomato I'd, because one haven't been able registered with your company, the order tracking was with one and the phone number was with other one .
when the CUSTOMER CARE called the person names ( **Santhoshkumar - phone number [protected]**)
took the call, but actually he didnt pick the order, his younger brother, took the order and delivered behalf of him
because of this, this younger person has come till my house location and happily closed the order, and took the food, he says he couldn't able to come inside, but i dont know how he was able to close the order if he didnt come to my location?
he says the phone were directed to the original I'd person - Santhoshkumar, not me, so i wasn't aware
kindly note all these took place post 4:30 pm, this is like 2:30 hrs post our order placement
your delivery partner doing a cheating and why a CUSTOMER has to suffer for that ?
later he repeatedly CONTACTed me via phone, asking an apology and not to raise a complaint, other wise when Zomato knows this issue, their I'd will be closed and they both can't work .
i asked them, this is your mistake, take responsibility for that, CONTACT the Zomato CUSTOMER CARE and ask them to refund me ( happening around 5-6 pm )
they told " kindly not proceed via Zomato, I'll pay you the amount directly, please don't take this issue seriously " and asked me time till yesterday night
but at the end of the day, there is no food nor money
these people Who is associated with the order - Santhoshkumar -[protected]
and the other person who is working with this I'd is clearly doing a scam
when a CUSTOMER avails your service, you should be able to mention clear inner management, not to irritate the CUSTOMER like this for your delivery partners scam
I'm not leaving this, i will definitely post this on social media, and raise an online complaint to the police for cheating me .
these two people should be immediately terminated for scamming your CUSTOMER and taking advantage of their patience and understanding, they have begged me like anything yesterday to not raise the complaint
so i m raising this complaint after 1 day, or i could have raised this already .
they have cheated me, took advantage of me
till now i haven't received the food nor the money, i need a severe action to be taken on both, or I'll definitely take this to court
these people are scamming the people around by not delivering and later begging the CUSTOMER to not to raise the issue telling this life problems .
they have also mentioned that " they have already been kicked off and terminated from SWIGGY by doing a similar incident over there " in the call with me
that's why they requested not to raise a complaint .
i am hoping to receive a response from you, or I'll proceed legally, this is a proper warning before i raise a police complaint and post on social media
you people have given me enough mental trauma by availing your service, which is punishable offence as per indian law,
you can't take advantage of your CUSTOMERs and make them undergo all these ### and scams .
i need a reply on this soon, attaching the screenshot of your call records with your delivery partner
i hope to get a proper investigation and resolution of this case.
