This is regarding my order placed on 11 May. My order id is [protected]. I have ordered 2 items from Zomato and paid Rs 661 . I got the wrong delivery when I approached zomato to return the product and refund my money back. They sent me the promo code of Rs 490 with the validity of 1 month . I told them I don't want promo code as this is for one time use with the validity of 1 month instead you give my money back to my source account . After sending multiple mails they initiated the refund of Rs 171 to my account saying that they have added Rs 490 promo code to my account for a month validity which they can't take back. If I will not order anything from Zomato till 10 June this promo code will expire.
believe the promo code is a offer not the replacement of money and if this is the alternative to refund money then its cheating.
I want my full refund to my source account so that I can use that anywhere not only in zomato .
This is a case of negligence from Zomoto side and it led to a lot of inconvience that needs to be compensated for . Because of this wrong delivery I again spent around Rs600 to order food from some other partner.
I am a regular customer of zomoto and I am very disappointed after this incident .
