[Resolved]  Vriti Infocom Pvt Ltd, Noida / Reliance Data Card — reliance data card could not be activated

I had ordered online a reliance data card for internet an got delivered on 31 march 2009. I was provided my pin number after i had called the firm on 1 apr 2009. But to my notice it could not be activated due to incorrect pin number provided to me. I called and i was confirmed that the problem will be solved. But even after a week my problem is still unattended and i am not able to activate my data card. On repeated calling, still i have got no solution.

As per telephonic discussion with you on 8th morning one Mr Sanjeev had visited my residence in II E -184 Nehru nagar Ghaziabad.
He had handed over the modem to me and i had given him a cheque NO 839639 of Rs 3500 and the 2 photos and the Voter Id of my wife Rekha Gupta and a HDFC bank statement as the address proof .I had booked the modem in the name of my wife Mrs Rekha Gupta.
About activation of the said modem Mr sanjeev had informed me that the modem will surely be activated by 7 pm on Saurday 9th May 09.
I tried to connect at 7.30 pm on 9th may but I came to know that the modem has not been activated till then. i called Sanjeev about the problem and he gave me the mob no of One Aamir.
I called Aamir around 7.45 pm and he told me that it will be activated in half an hour.I kept on trying till 9 pm when I again called Aamir that it has not still been activated.He said that check after one hour that is by 9 pm it will certainly be activated.
At 10.30pm I again checked the activation but it was still not activated by then.I again called Aamir but he could not give any satisfactory answer.
I again called Sanjeev but he too showed himself helpless and he later stopped responding to my phone calles even..
I am really sorry for the poor state of affairs that your company takes the customer problem very carelessly .
Please register my complaint for this negligence on the part of your company
and the poor state of affairs at Vriti Infocomm Ltd.
The modem is still unactivated.
I hope you will find time to look into my problem.

Hello Everyone!

I am another victim of Vriti Infocom.

My name is Manuj, I purchased NetConnect Broadband + on Saturday, May 9, 2009 in front of Sagar Cinema, Sector - 16, Faridabad, the guy, whose name I forgot, came to me, and delivered the Modem (ZTE) model.

I paid him INR 3, 500 vide receipt number [protected], he demanded two photographs (the form asked only one, when I questioned why he needs 2, he didn't had a positive response to my query, at that time I didn't realized the gravity of the situation, since I hadn't read this blog).

Anyway, I was committed that the activation would take place anyway by 10:30 PM, to my surprise it didn't (after reading this entire blog, I am not surprised at ALL).

I am trying to call the following numbers:

I have tried to call all the numbers mentioned above, I have been able to get hold of Abhishek, and he committed me by 10:30 PM, but nothing till now, i.. Sunday, May 10, 2009 (9:06 PM).

While the time of purchase, I already told them, that I will be out for a week, and I am just buying this modem for this particular trip (since I am in a remote area).

Now I am extremely frustrated, and would like to have my 100% money refunded, rather I would demand for penalty and worse customer service ever received (though I am habitual with poor Indian customer service, so I am not surprised).

Everyone, does anyone have telephone number and office address of this firm? As on the receipt the distributorship number is [protected].

I am trying to find the email of the MD of Reliance Infocomm or rather I would be emailing Anil Ambani, I know my email won't me answered, but anyway I will keep pursuing.

Reliance data card Vriti Infotech — Non activation of card

I had brought a reliance data card from Vrit info tech which is not activated as yet they are not picking up the phone nor refunding the money that is due to me there is one Mr lokesh who is very rude the card was purchased on 9 may 2009 not activated till date there is lot of complaintof these people ont the following link

THEU ARE CHEATING CUSTOMERS ON MANY THINGS-THEY ARE OFFERING GOA TICKET HOLIDAY, AFTER DELIVERING THE DATA CARD THEY ARE UNTRACEBLE.
I have taken a Reliance NetConnect Broadband+ DataCard on 27th May 2009. Verification was done on 29th May by Reliance. A Welcome Call Came from Reliance on 30th. But Connection Not working at all. I contacted Reliance on 31st May (Sunday). They say it's their Sleeping Day, So I need to call them Monday Morning.

I will let you know what happens on Monday Morning,
I have a similar problem with Vriti. They do not receive any calls neither in Mumbai[protected] nor at Noida[protected] /[protected].

They delivered the card 6 days after placing the order and its almost over 11 days and no connection. I tried to call up everywhere but I think the people at Vriti or Reliance forget the customers after selling their stupid products.

I am writing with all the evidence in my blog and Yahoo groups / Google groups to cover atleast 50000 people so that they can suffer because of their cheating habits and malpractices. I wrote to Reliance at various points and I got the copy paste reply. I have asked one of their executives to refund my money or I shall be forced to write to the Consumer Redressal forum apart from cheating case at the police station in Navi Mumbai so that they can know what lies in the strength of the law. Kindly communicate in your OWN WAYS to all about the poor service system of Vriti and Reliance.
... Ok, Now On Monday Morning, I again contacted Reliance at [protected] and was connected to a Reliance call center guy who tried again to assist me in installing the software and the datacard, but we did not succeed as my Laptop was not taking the driver. After many futile attempts he opened a complaint for the Senior Engineer.

5PM Monday: Senior Engineer called and asked me to change certain settings on my machine like disabling the antivirus and firewall and some other things. But since I was away from the machine, I asked him to call later so that I can work on the system in realtime. Which as expected he never called.

On Tuesday 02 June, I took the data card and my Laptop to the Vriti Infocom office at NOIDA and asked them to make it work by any means. One of their engineers Mr. Jagjit Singh tried brainstorming on the issue for about 2 hours. The card was working on other machines but not mine. Then he discovered that the drivers were not getting installed completely so he went through the device manager and updated the driver, which allowed the driver for this card to install perfectly and Zap... the card started working...all network signals came and I was online in a minute.

...and What a Great Speed, Atleast 2.4 Mbps as tested on speakeasy.net via chicago center. I was thrilled that I started watching some movie clips on Youtube...but Boy ! you need to keep a check...100 MBs gone in 20 minutes.

So at last I am happy that my issue is resolved and I am able to sur[censored]sing Reliance NetConnect.

Now the next would be the billing and the roaming performance. I would like to see if the billing is done correctly and also would like to go to other states and check if this thing works fine on roaming.

Reliance Infocom — Refund of Advance

i had informed reliance web world at Surat, India that i want to discontinue my connection Phone no -[protected], accordingly i was told to pay Rs. 1108.00 which i paid on16/01/2008, vide reciept no- S[protected]. On 21.01.2008, The telephone was collected from my residance by Relianc Infocom Person, vide Reciept no-050277, dt.21.01.2008.
Later on I went to reliance web world, to collect advanc (deposit of Rs1000.00) There i was told that to close the connection i have to deposit my phone at the web world. I explained to the and showed the Reciept against which the phone was collected from my residance. But my plee fell of def ears.
Later on i Contacted Miss. Shraddha phone no-([protected]). From 30.08.2008 i have been requesting her to help me, But so far there is no response, I had sent mails to shraddha.[protected]@reliance.ada.com, and hiren.[protected]@reliance.ada.com., I have send 4 reminders, But till date i have not recieved any feed back.
I have been earlier informed that the telephone collected from me has been given to someother customer.
Please help me, I have lost total trust in Reliance infocom.
Well me too is the victim. The card has not yet been activated.
I am able to contact them in any way.

This is probably the last straw & I am writing this final mail before considering a legal action against Reliance net connect.
I purchased a new reliance broadband USB modem (no. [protected]) through the reliance net connect website (Reference number 1399226)last week. I was contacted immediately (the only prompt service I received) and was asked to pay online. Since I was busy in the meetings I must have been contacted some 10 times to remind me of making the payment. Prompt service I must say! I was contacted by Sangeeta ( [protected]) and was assured that the device would reach in no time. Before I made the payment, every time I called her on the number mentioned above, she was available and took no time in helping me out.
After the payment there was no response from reliance. I was told that Mr. Lokesh ([protected]) would contact me and deliver the instrument. At last the instrument was delivered next day which I completely understand is still a reasonable time to respond.
Now I have the instrument with me with no life in it since my services are not activated. I must have made thousand attempts to call all possible reliance numbers to request them to activate my services. Before purchasing the instrument, Sangeeta had assured me that my services would be activated in 72 hours. Its more than 5 days now and there is no response. Everytime I call Sangeeta my call is disconnected or kept on hold by some other person. I must have spent 10 hours on the call with reliance details of which would be provided as a proof if required. Today morning also I must have tried fiftten times and everytime the phone rings my call is disconnected.
When I spoke with Mr. Lokesh from Mumbai and reminded him of the time limit of 72 hours, he asked me to speak with the person who had given the deadline (Sangeeta) and not with him. Mr. Lokesh made it very clear that this is the way reliance functions and suggested me that I should have thought of it before buying the instrument.
I have gone through innumerable reviews about the anguish people have experienced when they encountered similar episodes with reliance. I was fool enough not to believe them. Few of the colleagues from, my organsiation are also facing similar problems. I can not imagine a person working for reliance telling me that this is the way reliance functions and do not buy from us if you have a problem. I admire the spirit of Mr. Lokesh who could talk about the organization where he works in such high spirits. I admire the intelligence of Sangeeta who has become the most difficult person to trace now and the Noida people who disconnect my calls everytime I get through their number.
May be reliance is too big a organization to get affected by the kind of complaints people are facing but everything has a limit and it would be too late for the authorities to rectify the issues after torturing customers enough..
I am left with nothing much to say.

vriti infocom — wrong information,bad service

I had purchased Airtel Digital TV from Vriti Infocom, Noida on 29th May2009 via net. The package confirmed to me from Vriti infocom (Mr.Navaid) is not available as per the Airtel helpline.Also the free recharge confirmed by Vriti infocom has been denied by Airtel customer care. I contacted Vriti Inforom and talked to MrTaufik, Mr.Kamal;... everytime you call, there is someone new to answer;but till date I have received nothing but the promises.Settop box is still not installed even after 10days of payment and Vriti infocomis not responding atall.

Pl be aware before transacting with this company.
