[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — not able to send sms

dear sir,
my airtel prepaid no is [protected]. i have not been able to send sms from this no for the past three months.however i am able 2 receive sms.i hav tried to contact ur customer service but to no avail. may i request you to please look into this matter.

i have airtel sim .
I am not able send sms through the sim.but i can send sms using vodafone, idea or any other service provider other than airtel.when i called to customer care, then they told me that problem is in mobile. :)i am not that much fool, i know if i can send sms through vodafone and idea sim then problem is in service and not in mobile, i know mobile hardware technoloy very well. i sevral time called to 121 but they were not able give answer.i tired of this issue then i have purchased now another sim but the SMS problem is still there.I am not able to understand what type service airtel is giving.Better it will be that showing Shahrukh Khan in Ad., they first provide minimum service to customer without any failure.i hve purchase new phone and i am not able use tht phone so kndly solve the problem or otherwise(...).

Airtel Prepaid — Deduction of Rs.308 without any reason and not responding to consumer.

Hello Dear CNBC Consumer support cell,
I am Prasad (+91 [protected]), a customer of Airtel prepaid mobile services. I recharged my mobile with Airtel recharge voucher of Rs. 395 only to find next day that they deducted Rs. 308 without any reason. While the facts are-
1. My balance before recharge was not negative
2. My mobile phone was not "on" as the last call I dialed was a local call, lasted only for 11 minutes.

After that I booked a complaint on 27th Nov (CBDCC[protected]) for the deduction and the call centre executive promised me that this will get resolved before 30th Nov. As I know Airtel from last 5 yrs., they didn’t resolve as expected. I called them again to get ONE MORE PROMISE and new complaint no. (CBDPA[protected]) of resolving in next 48 hrs.! As expected nothing happened. Now I am calling them for my query just to speak to different call centre executives again and again and they are not responding as after some time the executives are putting the phone down!
This is really frustrating as we the customers are paying for the mistake of Airtel Company. The free customer care line 198 doesn’t work (for everything the answer is "dial *121# for all your balance queries!") and PAID LINE 121 is not responding.
I checked your complaints blog and it was no wonder that most of the complaints are for Airtel!
It’s not easy just to change the number and use different mobile carrier. Does Airtel knows or heard about any word like BUSINESS ETHICS?

same thing happens with me to. on 3th dec 2010 evening my account balance become nil without any reason while it should had the balance around Rs 70 - Rs80. i also call the custumer care but they are not responding. My Mob. No is[protected]. kindly look into the matter.

Air Tel prepaid mobile service — Disturbing messages Deduction of money on unwanted services. Please stop otherwise I will to other Mobile operator

I am a senior citizen 68+
I continue to receive ghost calls for Friendship Chat,Hindu religion services,Radio servicesand so on without my concent. For all these Rs.30/ gets deducted for each services from my Prepaid Balance periodically

.I strongly request your supporting manforce to stop such practices immediately otherwise I would discontinue relationship.

i m paras kakkar from saharanpur n m calling irtel customer care again n again but they r not resonding me .now i fedup off them .please take some action against it.

Airtel — not receiving any more messages for past one week

i am not receiving any more messages from other mobiles, i have complained to the related customer care executives but no action has not taken , therefore i am complaining to particular authorities , who can see my problem and solve it as soon as possible mobile No: [protected].

i am facing the same the same problem of not being able to send sms from my airtel number ..i.e.[protected]
each and everytime i call up customer care they say that atleast 24 hours or 48 hours will be taken in order to resolve the problem but it has not been yet resolved and further when i visited the customer care center even they were not able to solve my problem..i am having this problem since 6 months and it's high time for airtel service operator to resolve the problem please look into the matter

Airtel — SMS problem not solved

SMS's not gelling delivered and not able to recevie to my hand set from my Airtel number [protected]. Problem persists from last one month, airtel not solving it causing inconvenience

Airtel Prepaid — Same Number working somewhere

Purchased new prepaid Airtel on 25th,Feb 2011, got activated but :

No incoming calls
NO SMS done
If called by other person calls received by stranger, he says it is my no. i.e .[protected]
if Called always SWITCH OFF ,Vodafone message flashed
SIM returned to retailer, but he has no answer
i have a Mobile No.[protected] of airtel but this number is not outgoing facility from last three days. I dont know what is this possible?

sir i am totally unsatisfied with airtel because when i have complaint then i am unable to contact airtel customer care because there is no announcement of pressing key to customer care.
and my very serious complaint is this that my friend with number [protected]
sends me sms but his each sms comes to me several times while i have asked him about this but he said he sends only one despite of this his each sms comes to me several times so iam very tensed about this.

Airtel prepaid mobile service — Charging for unsolicited advice

I received a call on March 31, 2011, from [protected]. The person introduced himself as Airtel customer care executive and said that I am being selected by AirTel to avail hellotune of my choice for one year free of cost. As soon as I selected a hello tune I received a SMS say ing that Rs. 200/= is deducted from my accoun balance for one year. Not only that another RS.15/= was charged for changing hello tune and again another Rs. 5/= was charged for changing hellotune while I have not changed any thing.
