[Resolved]  Bag It Today — Wrong Information/ Cheating

On[protected] I got an SMS from LM-IndiaTdy that my consignment to Dibrugarh, Assam has been sent by Blue Dart vide consignment note no. [protected]. But on checking the status on 27th April, I found that the product was booked in New Delhi and also delivered in New Delhi to some Nagi which I suppose must be an employee of the Company. This is just a CHEATING COMPANY. It is my bad luck that I had dealt with this company. I request the Legal Authorities to take action against all the people involved in this racket and arrest them. I also agree on the views of Harsha. The company is chaetinf so many customers by giving wrong information and non delivery of booked items. I also booked the Reebok kit with the company for delivery of Reebok watch, Reebok T shirt, Reebok shoes, sun glass and school bag. I received the order by making payment of Rs. 3500/- and opended to see that only watch and school bag was there in the box. The school bag was of inferior quality and not resembling the picture shown in the advertisement in Vijaya Karnataka. I immediately conatcted the company and they advised me to lodge complaint to the address given by them. When I tried to send the mail the mail bounced back. I also request other people be beware of the cheating company and not to buy the items shown in advertisement

After my complaint dated April 22, I got a call today from another bevy voice saying all regrets for telling lies and wanted me to name the person who had given the assurance. Since I am well aware of the call centre oriented marketing, I told them that its for them to know what assurance goes since all their calls are recorded. In any case a consumer need not remember the name. However, another brand of watch was promised and they also wanted to refund my money. But alas how could I know that the gift is missing unless I open the parcel. Tricky indeed since in the meanwhile my credit card dues statement has arrived and I have to pay for whole amount at one go ! So much for the tele shopping.

i orderd a watch my order number is 46852 and reference booking id no.[protected] of Rs.499/- and i got a message from LM-IndiaTdy (your order has been dispatched on[protected] by POSTAL 985798 You Can Pay on Delivery)

BagItToday (India Today Arm) — Non-Receipt of BagIT Today Order for more than 45 days despite several follow ups

I haven't received order bearing # [protected] for more than 45 days from BagIt Today.
I have followed up atleast 6-8 times over email and twice calling them, their response is stereotype and have been hearing/reading the following message everytime I follow up with them.
The bluedart courier consignment # [protected], they have provided is a fake one, blue dart doesn't have this particular courier # at all.
Their service is pathetic seems to be a fradulent company chaeting people. This is highly frustrating and horrible experience with Bagit.

The email msg I receive everytime I follow up is:

"This is with reference to your e-mail.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you.

We would like to inform you that we have taken the matter with the department concerned. We request you to kindly allow us with the 4-5 working days to resolve the issue and get back to you. Hope you shall bear with us in the interim.

We assure you that all possible care shall be taken from our end.

Bag It Today — Failure to deliver paid Purchases by credit card

I had made purchase with Bag it Today in 28th October 2010 for amount of 15998. also told to pay me rs 899 as courier charges.

Later they sent me the mail:- Saturday, October 30, 2010 11:33 AM
Thank you for your order. We wish to inform you that your order has been put under
process with order no TELESALES/0GA[protected]. The order value is Rs. 899 and Order Date is 29-OCT-10. You will receive an email and a sms with your despatch details soon.

Then they called and told me more RS 11399 money has to be paid as i am lucky winner and has won another diamond set of rs 50 thousand (so total 2 sets). and needs to pay for the govt as tax.....

so i sent the below mail on Friday, November 26, 2010 5:51 PM to them to cancel my order because i dont have that much money.

As per the shopping done with you of rs 15998 on 28/10/10 i have not recieved the goods from your side. the goods consisted of Samsung c20 handy-cam of 12 mega pixels worth rs 18000 which was given to me with an offer of rs 15998 and along with it a free gift of Philips home theatere system worth rs 1700 and a diamond set or cash gift or rs 50000. so i have not recieved any goods till date,nor have received an email and a sms with despatch details ,
but have recieved a call from your side on 23/11/2010 from telephone nos ([protected], [protected], [protected] ) saying that youll have not yet sent me the goods but you have to pay rs 11399. to create a government id to send your goods and gift. so i would request you to either cancel my order and pay me back the cash youll have recieved or else plz do send me the goods and my free gifts as soon as possible.

later on the 1st week of Febuary i recieved my Half of the goods through Blue dart Couriers ie (Samsung digital camcoder 1.9 megapixels instead of 12 mega pixels and the philips dvd player which had a sticker saying free Lens cleanner cd and some other acc, which they never gave me. also the philips DJ 5.1 speakers they gave has lot of hissing sound and that model was never manufacured by philips company at all.) and through Blue dart Couriers and they said that the Diamaond set worth 50 thousand will be sent to u later.

i kept on calling from Goa to Delhi almost every altenate day they gave an excuse of no stock. Spent alot of money on calls. as it goes to long procedure dail this n then that.......

Later they told me that ur shipment is ready to be dispatched with booking id[protected] dated 05/03/2011

BUT TILL THE 30TH APRIL 2011. I HAD NOT RECIEVED MAIL NOR MY DIAMOND SET

SO I WENT ON THE 2ND MAY 2011 TO COLLECT IT FROM FIRST FLIGHT and found that:-
that my parcel had reached on 11 April 2011 and was given to some else ON 11TH AT 5:00 PM, rather than me with just name and wrong phone no.(just 9 nos) by FIRST FLIGHT .
No signature was taken, No id Check was done, No Id No of driving Lic or voters id no was taken......by FIRST FLIGHT.
The more important thing was that I was not in India on 11th April 2011, but had left to go to Singapore on the 23 March 2011, I have my Passport stamped, my ticket copy, my immagration as a proof of document. But the FIRST FLIGHT COURIER has given to some Malpe Estibeiro (Unknown)

So I sent a mail to Bag it today saying:-

Dear Sir /madam

As per your dispatch date it is very late to inform me that youll have already dispatched on 8th april and sent me a mail on 1st may 2011. (Almost after a month)

This is to inform youll that when i went to collect my parcel with First Flight Couriers, it was found that my parcel reached to their office on 11th april, and they have assigned it to someone else on the same day evening at 5:00 pm. they have also not taken any signature or any ID no on the Deleviry Challan as a Proof.
They have not even given a call to me on my mobile.
But By your mail sent to me i came to know about my Dispatch.

SO THE PARCEL IS NOT DELIVERED TO ME BUT TO SOMEONE ELSE. PLEASE KINDLY CHECK THE DELIVERY RECIPT RETURNED BY THEM TO YOUR OFFICE.

I have not recieved the second shipment Booking id[protected] dispatched through First Flight and received by you on 9th April 2011. for this shipment i did not recieve a mail nor a phone call, but later recieved a mail a month later, and also do not agree that youll have sent me the products i had purchased with youll. Please do read the Discrepencies above written n found in the products sent by Your company.
If you do not resend me the second shipment, along with a mail the same day it is dispached. i will take further action.Any Way I am moving up to Delhi in June with Bang Bang.

Bag It Today India Today Group — non receipt of order book and gift

I havereceived a letter from bag it today intimating that i had qualified for the final stage of one crore sweepstakes about two months back. Accordingly I responded in their reply envelop with a cheque of Rs 2998.The order was for the book Treasures of the world and the gifts.(Refno.PT[protected] On[protected]the cheque had been realized from account by bag it today. But so far i have not been received the consignment. On enquiry I was told that the consignment was sent through First Flight courier. I enquired with the courier and they told they had returned the consignment for want of my phonenumber to contact me.

Now I request you to kindly entervene and aeeange to redespatch the consignment with my phone number so that the courier could trace me.

Bag It Today — Not received replacement product

Hi,

I received the offer to receive a Numero Uno watch only by paying Rs. 499 as Cash On Delivery Order id-[protected]. I received the same on 12th April but the product was received as damaged. I immediately informed the customer care and got complaint ID#118097. I sent the same back by courier on 14th April and it was received by the company on 18th April'11 but till date despite numerous calls and emails, I have not received the replacement watch yet. Please help.

I have booked an order on bag it today of 6, 30 cent diamond and 1 sony erricson ASPEN mobile.representative called me for that deal.they told me that the cost of this deal was 24999 Rs. and they will not take whole money.they just block the whole deal ammount for 72 hours.after that they deduct the EMI cost 2083 Rs which was told by your representative and rest will come in my account.but no balance came in my account till now.i have recorded all conversation which was held between me and your representative.the EMI period told by your representative is 12 month.so take some action on it otherwise i'll take some action against you.
