[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Credit Card — Fraud by ICICI bank

I would like to bring to your attention following facts about the unethical and illegal practice of ICICI Credit card division and bank and cheating being done.

A Credit card No - was issued to me on November 2002 which got expired on November 2004 . First The bank charged [debited ] annual fees from my savings bank account towards the annual charges while It was issued a life time free of cost basis and Later this was amount credited to my card account which is still unused and unnecessarily blocked for no fault of mine.

On August 2007 I was shocked to receive a SMS alert informing that Some transaction has been conducted through the card issued to me .Since I had not used this card at all therefore I immediately informed the customer care to block the card and transactions through this card.

I was assured through a telephone call from your customer care division that needful will be done and card has been blocked.

After that my credit card statement issued to me for the period August- September 07 reflected an amount of Rs.17958/ only to be paid to the bank for the transactions supposedly conducted by me . I informed the customer care that these transactions have not been done by me at all and I had already informed customer care about it.

Subsequently a fresh statement reversing the amount of Rs. 17958/ was issued pending enquiry into the matter.

After some time bank issued statement reflecting the amount again which I had not spent through my card.

I had sent many letters and emails to charge back department [ as advised by customer care ]to explain how transactions have been conducted and authorised by the credit card division but no reply on the matter has been sent to me till date about it.

Subsequently I met one of your employee from credit card collection Mr Ankit Goel ( Rohini Delhi Branch )to resolve the issue but he neither resolved nor revert on the case despite of my rigorous follow-up.

Now from January 2008 onward Your recovery agent start to calling me and abusing me for delay payments and on 1 st March 2008 I received an SMS that ICICI bank has transfered an amount of Rs. 20,760.00 from my Saving Bank accountno .This has been done without any information, discussion or knowledge .

ICICI Bank Credit Card — WRONGLY CHARGE INTT. & SERVICE TAX

My name is Kamal joshi my credit card no. is [protected] this card is issued on march 2007
i have used this card is last time in sept.2007 & purchse 798/- rupees. This time icici bank 1000/- rupees dispute in my card when july 2007 in i purchase tds software thru internet then i have not recd. tds software but ICICI Bank Cr. Rs. 1000/- this time i sent mail to icici caredt card department, please satel this amt. reverse then i recd. call from banglore icici credit card department but they are not setell this amt. and again i recd. Sept. Month Bill they charge Rs. 2100/- & Rs. 2800/- i dont know what is this amt. i have not use this amt. then i call to customer card they are no proper reply then i told him i broken this card & future i have not use this card till date but icici bank are why sending me credit card statemnet,
Last time April 2008, i talk to icici credit card customer care they are told me settel your card payment you are only pay rs. 1000/-& one weak you settelment letter come in your address

It is to inform you that we got a call from your icici credit card office in jammu some 3 DAYS back regarding some balance payment in our credit card NO [protected] favouring SONIKA GUPTA as it is to inform you that we have not used credit card yet so you are requested to furnish/clarify all the details regarding this card at earliest possible

Icicibank Creditcard — cheating,unnecessary taxes,etc.

puprposely not taking the cheques from dropboxes in time and adding late fee plus several taxes. this is purely cheating by the ICICI bank to make money.

customer care services and the mulund branch services are also useless and harassing the customers, not helping.
I want to discontinue use of this credit card.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Unjustified Charges

I am holding a Credit Card of ICICI Bank. They have applied unjustified charges, ineterst and late payment charges on my card and now calling me by giving threats to pay the whole amount.

I am holding ICICI bank credit for last three years, Never i pay late payment or any other fine, but i'm facing lot of problem for last five months.

(i) They are not give me a reversal of service charge on HP petrol pumps.

(ii)Last bill amount i paid by cheque, 10 days before the due date, and i got a conformation SMS ( your cheque recived, made payment successfully - Thank you ).
But Now i got the next bill, here they put that the cheque was return. if the cheque is return, where is the cheque?
i ask customer care, they are telling so many different answer.
For that they put Fine also.

Please, kindly check and do the needful.
(Very urgent, my billing due is 05.12.08.)

ICICI Credit Card — False statement for 10% Cash Back

Dear Sir/madam,

I had to book 2 air-tickets for Delhi to Chennai. I called u ICICI customer care and told them that i have a ICICI Titanium Credit Card and need to book some air-tickets and asked them to tell me if any cash back offer is going on. The representative told me that yes a 10% Cash Back is going on and you can book your tickets from any website. So i did so but now when i have got my statement for that month, there is no 10% Cash Back. The customer care people are not ready to listen to my request and are not giving me the cash back.
Please help.

Dear Sir,

I was handling ICICI credit Card No. [protected] and which was expired on September 2007. earlier It was linked to my Internet banking and through ECS also, from where I normally paid all my dues. Last time Customer Care called me and asked that the balance amount of Rs. 7520 to be paid against the sam card in June 2008.

After detailed verification I had paid Rs. 7520 /- on 19June 2008 through Cheque No. 450889 of ICICI Bank Jodhpur Gram Branch Ahmedabad ( My residance at that time was at Ahmedabad )through receipt no. 5810013 to ICICI bank Executive of Sakar 1 Branch Ahmedabad, as full and final payment.

Now after 6 months, Today I check my statment and saw that the bank has debited Rs. 6210 /- on 16 Dec2008 via ECS from my ICICI Bank A/c.[protected].

I was shocked and scared about the transaction. Kindly Guide me for the way to get back the amount o any legal action can be taken against ICICI bank Credit Card.

The reps from ICICi/franchies mr ganesh, he is from mumbai and landline no as he told me is[protected]. mr ganesh atitute was very painfull to me. The way he be have with me that he him self obliging to me. In my cabin without my knoledge he use my mobile. when I asked him, than he told me i[censored] want to make my complain, you can go ahead but you will not recived credit card and iwill do it.
If your staff behave like than no matter I don't want credit card. But I will go to consumer court and bank association for taking action against him.

This is too much. Its the right of the customer to receive the mothly statement, and why its not done
One fails to understand as to why these customer care centres are opened, when they actually are a nuisance to the customer, leave alone care. Why cant we have a system where the customer directly interacts with the concerned officials, istead of middlemen like customer care centres?

icici bank credit card no:4477460611862006 — telephonic harresment

dear sir

i have bought railway ticket through icici bank credit card, by mistake my account has less balance and auto debit request was bounced, then i have deposited money in my account .

then i have received call for payment, which i have agreed to give by cheque, but none of person came to collect cheque from my office.

after this incidence, eventhough i have balance in my savings account and auto debit facility available, i am receiving calls from different icici personals for payment, which really give me herresment,

i want to get rid of this account, please clear my balance and i want to close my all relation with icici bank who has no co ordination in them and kept on calling customer for same thing .

ICICI Bank has without intimation coverted Rs.5440/- to Lien Account from Savings Bank Account. ON enquiry this has been with reference to Centurian Bank Credit card that too Foriegn transaction in USD which is not even proved with Charge slip or authorisation by bank inspite of repeated followups.

Website of Centurian Bank Shows its merger with HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank is recovering false dues on its behalf.

As on date ICICI Bank si hopeless Bank with all irregularities being done in all fronts credit cards, savings account, Insurance, Mutual Funds. People with big investments with ICICI may get alert now instead of repenting later

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Groundless charges levied

Dear Sir,

During my last month's credit card billing period there has been lots of groundless charges levied on me. First of all on submitting the cheque well before time they levied a late payment fee on me. Then when I contacted them saying the same, their reply was "We have not recieved any cheque from you, please drop in another one." I insisted that it is a fault from your side, please search for the cheque but the phone banking person was adamant on me submitting a new cheque. Then I asked him in that case please don't forward the old cheque for clearance and I had provided him the cheque number and all other relevant details. I went and did the payment in cash this time to avoid such problems and paid some 100 Rs. more too for cash payment. And then to my surprise I see that the same day they had forwarded the cheque which I had asked them not to forward for clearance! As a result HDFC as well as ICICI both have again levied hefty fines of 350 and 400 Rs. approx plus service charges because the cheque has bounced.

I have been calling their phone banking people and they are so unmannered that they keep on hanging the call whenever I question then strictly. I am so irritated with this behavior from the so called "Number One" bank of India. This behavior is so unprofessional and the way they are making money is unethical. How can you penalize me for a chain of incident triggered from your very own fault? First of all they are reluctant to reverse all the charges and on top of that I have to pay a fine to HDFC also. Any institutions with even a little bit of professional sense would have apologized for creating such an inconvinience to the customer and would have paid for all the fines imposed directly or indirectly because of their own fault.

I wish someone listens to this complaint of mine and takes some appropriate measures. Moreover, if someone can point to me to the Banking Ombudsman who will be handling this case, as I wish to escalate this matter to the proper authorities.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — WRONG CHARGES OF UTILITY BILL

I AM HAVING A CREDIT CARD IN WHICH I HAVE BEEN CHARGED UTILITY CHARGES OF MAHANAGAR GAS LTD, FOR Rs.3990, OF WHICH I HAVE DONT HAVE CONNECTION AND EVEN AFTER REPEATED COMPLAINTS TO THE BANK AND MAHANAGAR GAS LTD NO ONE HAS TAKEN ANY ACTION AND INSTEAD I AM GETTING CALLS FOR PAYMENT OF SAME FROM ICICI BANK.

ICICI Creditcard — not activating my credit card even after the payment made

i am sirish.k i am holding icici silver credit card as the bank people has collected all the funds which i am suppose to pay from my icici salary account with out any prior notice and now they are not activating my credit card so can any one help with the same they have collected all the interests and dues also..
