Phagwara Gas Service (Indane) Distributor, Industrial Area, Phagwara-144401 (Pb) …………………………...⇄ Parties Complaint: Rajneesh Madhok, Registered Member, CORE, a Consumer Protection Organisation has filed this complaint against the Indian oil Corporation through its Chairman, General Manager (LPG-MO) and others. The case is that the opposite party No. 1 to 11 are concerned with the distribution of the LPG Gas cylinders. Rajneesh Madhok had approached to the concerned officers and sent the Registerd Letter as well and requested the concerned authorities to deliver the LPG Gas cylinders to the above mentioned Connection Holders. But the said Gas agency has nothing to do with the requests of the consumers and do not reply to the requests of the Representative. As the consumer is entitled to get the supply of a LPG cylinder of two cylinders in a month. But the said agency don’t make supply to them on various requests even. In this connection the SPEED POST LETTER No. EE[protected] IN DATED 02/02/2008 POSTED AT CHANDIGARH OFFICE FAILS TO SUPPLY THE LPG GAS CYLINDERS TO THE ABOVE MENTIONED CONNECTION HOLDERS. SUFFERING CONSUMER NUMBERS: 1. CONNECTION NO. 3502 2. CONNECTION No. 2556 3. CONNECTION NO. 14335 The Ministry of Petroleum as well as the Ministry of Consumer Affairs shall ensure that all Marketing Companies do issue necessary instructions that the Distributors will provide to the consumers LPG Gas Cylinder within a stipulated time limit. I pray to The Honourable Forum to direct the Indian Oil Corporation to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- to the Complainant to meet the expenses incurred by it in protecting the interest of consumers and to continue to protect the interest of the consumers, within a period of four weeks. Dear Sir,The gas supplier is Ragu gas services, khandsa road gurgaon. I have already booked my gas on[protected] and till date i have not received any refilled cylinder. This is inspite of many visits made to the supplier and lot of telphonic calls.
This is not the first time it has happend. It is happening since 2 years and the serivice is not improving. Lot of people are gathered at the suppliers shop daily for these kind of cases of non delivery of cylinders. Today also i went to the supplier but there was nobody to atleast listen to the customers grievances. Crowd was gathered outside (lot of women) with empty cylinders to sort out their problem.
If i want to get the indane cylinder with extra charges i will easily get it, this proves that there is no scarcity of LPG.
I am also registering this complaint on behalf of all the people facing such kind of problem. Hope something could be done to avoid such issues

hi,I am Indane Gas Company customer. My agency name is Shila Agency, J.P.Nagar.
My customer number is 99318.
I booked cylinder 4 weeks ago. but still it is not delivered. Whenever i called there people there not responded properly and always told me to wait for another 3-4days.
Every saturday i called there, they told me that they will send that day only but later in evening they said it will delivery next week only. this happens every week.
And the guys from that agency doesnt know how to speak to their customers properly.

Sir,The Indane company agency GSEnterprise Gas at Bholanath Nagar Shahdra Delhi has given three phane no. published on bill are two. All the no. are either engaged or are not being picked up. It takes days together to book the rifill after spendind lot of time trying to contact the agency.So you are requested to please look in to matter.

Dear SirI am Indane user from Bangalore .
I am getting Cylinder from Natraj Enterprises , Yelahanka , Bangalore
I booked cylinder on 27.01.10
But up to 05.02.10, I did not get the cylinder ,last three days i am keep on calling them, they are telling by today by tomorrow and finally they did not deliver till now.Totally 9 days are over .
More over I have only one cylinder , so still how many days i have to wait for my cylinder
And I am a working women , i took 2 day leave for my office on their words that they will supply in time, Today is my third day leave . Paralley I lost my three days salary without receiving the cylinder in time.
Please help me in this regard

Indane Gas — improper supply and delay
i am a consumer of indane gas, om domestic gas , yadav nagar ,rafi chowk,nagpur. my consumer no.is 9851. whenever we ask for refilled cylinder after a weekor month we are told that there is a shortage of supply. we are also told that there is a rule that we cannot ask for a refilled cylinder for atleast 21 days. the service is very bad and non cooperative.Indane — not supply gas cylinder

is doing all types of malpractices in booking, supply of cooking gas:
1. Not attending the phone for booking.
2. Not giving the booking number so that the consumer is assured that his gas is booked.
3. If there are two connections in a family, only one gets supplied at a time.
4. After delivery, 21 days time allotted for the next booking. I do not think that it is a hard and fast guideline from IOCL for their distributors.
5. Consumer cannot change his distributor for the cooking gas when there are two or more dealers supplying cooking gas in the same residential area.
6. When booked on the phone or manually, the distributor picks out the booking card and put a later date to delay the supplies. suppose if we book gas on 16 January, he puts the date 26 January.
7. The address given has nothing more than a table, chair and a registor, and a person who does not know anything about the status of booking, and has a mugged up answer-''number note kara dijiye, jaldi gas bhijwa denge''.

lindane — underweight of LPG Cylinders
I m a Resident of F-178, Jai vihar, Najafgarh. I m shifted here last year. The LPG cooking cylinder are always found underweight.Every time i found 3-4 Kg of LPG is less in the cylinder. The delivery boys does all that..so i request u to take a serious action on that..
