[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

What the hell service of sony ericsson.. my phone (w20) is in service center from last 20 days, they have not repaired my phone yet. they always say to me your phone will be done within two day whenever i go there. Sir,
i give my hand set for reparing on 15feb.,2011 but till date i have not recieved.
Even contact your call centre not response proper and many time contact with service centre is not answar properly.All these reason i do legal action if i not recieved my handset or new one. Even i call "Mr. Wamiq" but not attend.

Sony Ericsson — Pathetic product and services

I bought W100i phone around 5 Months back, since that time I am not at all happy with the product, it always gives me SMS memory Full error, Network Problem, Low battery backup, and MMS going out instead of SMS.

I have given it for repair for around 5 times, each time they just updated software and again the problem persists, 5th time I asked them to replace the PCB and as per the Service Center (Accel Frontline, Shivajinagar, Pune) they have replaced the PCB and when I started to use it again all the problems were still there.

I called the helpline [protected] and spoken to someone named Sanjay (dont remember) and he was talking in a very rude manner, I dont know who made him the customer support executive, he should be terminated.

What should I do with this DABBA Sony Ericsson phone, please dont buy any Sony Ericsson products, its useless and you will not get any help from anywhere, MICROMAX / CARBON/ MAXX are better then Sony Ericsson atleast they dont take that much prices and give this kind of service.

Sony Ericsson — warranty repair

I HAD PURCHASED A SONY ERRICSSON MOBILE PHONE (W20 ZYLO) FROM RADIO HOUSE, BANGALORE ON 01 SEP 2010. THE PHONE HAD A DISPLAY PROBLEM IN DECEMBER 2010. SINCE I AM WORKING IN INDIAN AIR FORCE I AM POSTED TO KHARAGPUR, WEST BENGAL. I WENT TO A SERVICE CENTRE IN KHARAGPUR AFTER CHECKING ITS ADDRESS ON THE COMPANY'S WEBSITE IN JAN 2010. THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE SET FOR WARRANTY REPAIR AS THEY SAID THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED SPARES AND WERE NOT SURE OF THE SUPPLY. I BELONG TO HARYANA. WHEN I CAME HERE ON LEAVE. I TOOK THE PHONE TO ANOTHER SERVICE CENTRE IN AMBALA CANTT, HARYANA. THE SAME REPLY WAS GIVEN TO ME AND THE SERVICE CENTRE REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE PHONE FOR WARANTY REPAIR. I TRIED TO PUT A COMPLAINT ON COMPANY'S WEBSITE BUT THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE. I M GETTING HARASSED. PLEASE HELP AND GIVE ME A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM.

Sony Ericsson — cheating

I brought sony ericsson xperia x2 on December' 2011, and its has problem and they replaced in January, now I have give phone for services on March 9th 2001, now they are saying I will get handset after 30th march, I bought 3 months back and it was with service center for 2 months, in case what is the necessary of buying new handset?
the customer care is very worst, they repeatedly saying, i get handset before 30th march, other then that they are not telling any thing
please do the needful earliest, I am forced to approach consumer court

Sony / DVD Recorder — Service of repair

Purchased Dvd recorder model RDR-GX 350 in Kuwait in 2008. Gave it to repair of
recorder not working in India to Sony Service Center Hubli,Karnataka on Jan 2010 Cost of product was Rs 12000/- but Sony Co.is unable to repair I was ready to pay repair charges.Still the Recorder with Hubli Sony service center
I have to take legal action that if the manufacturer cant repair their product after
sales than dont have right to sale the product

Sony Ericsson — Mechanism of Sony Cybershot not working

I purchased a Sony Ericsson cybershot through a MTN contract. After a few months the phone stopped working. When I switched the phone on, only the light came on but the screen remained blank. This had happened on several occasions. On each occasion I was forced to travel over 100km to a Sony service centre to have it repaired. The consultant informed me that there was a problem with the mechanism. This has also happened to many of my friends whereby theyve encountered a similar problem. I was due to purchase the mini pro but decided against it as I do not want to encounter similar problems. The contract for my cybershot has expired and I will have to pay to have it repaired. I am disappointed as I believe the phone not working is not my fault.

i bought a sony ericson u100I and this set was not working well that's why i submitted my set to technocare service center at lajpat nagar on 8 March 2011. They are saying that the particular part of my phone is not available and they are taking so much time now i want my phone back as soon as possible.
Please take stern step against them

Sony Ericsson / Vivaz U5 — Huge delay in the service of my mobile handset.

I had submitted my handset on 5th march 2011, as it was under warranty. its been 22 days and still i have not got it back. i have been told that the spare part(display unit) of the handset will come chennai but uptill now they are unsure about the day they'll receive it. i am really very disappointed as i did not get any replacement for my handset. several times i have called the customer care but they are not helpful at all, most of the times they hang up the phone. it is my kind request, please take some action as soon as possible as i am losing the remaining warranty also.

i purchased sony ericison W580i. It worked well for 3 months after some days suddenly it switched off automatically then i went to service centre and i reported those problems they took my handset and sended to company and they make 2 months late but now too the same problems the service centre is not working properly (Pls note that Sony Ericison Service centre is Not working properly) Its waste Sony Mobiles only the use and throw Phones DONT BUY ANY SONY HANDSETS...................

I Neelkant.D.Itagikar, R/o.H.No.J-89, Hindalco Colony, Belgaum, bought a Sony Ericsson C510 in November 2009, within 2 months, I started experiencing problems with the networking, MMS Messages, display disturbances, and this is because of malfunction of the handset. I gave it to the nearest Sony Ericsson Service Center at COSMIC TELECOM, Shop No.7, Cantonment Complex, Khanapur Road, Camp, Belgaum, work order No.SE310CT110223, after 2-3 days he repaired the set and when I received the set I faced the same problem, again I gave the hand set to service centre but it remains the same, after that I approached the service centre 5-6 times but the problem exists continuously, work order Nos for your kind attention viz 2) SE310CT111030 3) SE310CT111375 4) SE310CT111473 & 5) SE310CT111551, recently I gave the hand set for repair on 4th September 2010 bearing work order No.SE310CT111763, but its for no use the problem persist again & again. The phone is almost unusable and that too within less 2 months.


This is a clear case of defective manufacturing nt mishandling. I plan to lodge a complaint against you in Consumer Court under Consumer Protection Act, 1986.



Hope you will look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest, I request you to replace the hand set with any other model or same.

I have purchased sony ericson handset w-395 on 10.4.2010 for Rs.6109.00. 3 times given to Dadar service centre. Spoke to customer care, helpdesk . refused to replace the same.

Sony Ericsson's customer care service([protected]) is pathetic . I spoke with their rep and her name was Ankita .She did not answer any questions and dis connected the call. I called up thrice and their manager was having coffee all the time. He/She did not come to attend the call at all. One of the poorest customer service I have ever received.

i bought somy eriction handset- spiro(w100i) in october2010. it getting problem within 1 week i gave it for repairing they returned it after 2 weeks after changing the mother board. after i got regular problems i even ask to exchange it but they decline its too late for exchange

my sony ericsson C510 was having SIM problems....
and i approached my city's sony ericsson service center for repairing or replacing handset on 19th January 2011
they said handset will be given in 10 days
but when call them they said its on waiting list,they were making so much excuses in the case
sometimes they said handset's motherboard is sent for repair.Sometimes they said it will replaced with another similar handset....
after 1.5 months they said parcel in which the replaced handset was,has been misplaced
i m so much annoyed by their services
today,on 31.3.2011 when i called them they said the same thing again"your phone is on waiting list"

Sony Er. X10 Mi — Product not working

Purchased from Mobile store, Thakur Village, Kandivali (East) vide invoice no.889/364177 dated 01.08.2010 for Rs.16388.00

In the week of Sep 2010, the mobile unit got hanged and it washanded over to the service centre at Borivali west. We got the unit back duly repaired after one month. We have informed that the system was jammed and the mother board was repaired

In November 2010, the unit started vibrating (till it’s battery drained off or the unit was switched off).
We got it repaired and it worked for a couple of weeks

After 2 weeks, the display went off and the unit started vibrating again. Since the display was not there, it was not possible to switch off the unit. Hence the unit used to vibrate till it’s battery drained off.
We again got it repaired from the same service unit

The problem occurred 5-6 times and all the time, your service centre staff repaired it and returned without confirming the exact reason of the problem. On two occasions, they had informed us that the problem was due to virus in the memory card. After that, we had changed the memory card, but the problem persisted

In January 2011, the power jack became loose(not fitting in the socket) and due to this, we could not charge the unit. Due to repeated problems, we had stopped using the unit since January 2011

The service unit is either closed down or shifted to a different locality
Please advise, how to get the money back

Sony Ericsson — Charger replacement

I had given a charger for replacement at RT Outsourcing Patna L2A,Boring Road, Patna on 28 Jan, 2011 under Workorder No SE311RPT10356.It was accepted with an estimated delivery date of 15 days or earlier.Since that day I have been continuously following up the people out there.But the only response I get is ' u will have to wait Sir '.
Today the service center is closed with a notice ' Service Centre is closed, Plz contact on[protected] '.The lady who received the call said that we will deliver it at your address.On asking for a date she says u will have to wait.
How many days should I wait? And why should I wait.Will the company extend the guarantee of my charger for the period it keeps my charger with it.It seems SONY HAS THE WORST AFTER SALE SERVICE.The people are not capable to sort out the problems of those customers because of which the company is in existence.Better replace such garbage people holding the chair.I have paid for my charger.And it seems i have chosen a wrong company.THIS IS A PROMISE THAT I WONT EVER BUY PRODUCTS OF SONY.
I really need a reply other than "u ll hav to wait".
