[Resolved]  Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card — SCB Credit Cards.... No support, No transparency... Most irresponsible Customer care Team

I am very unhappy with PHONEBANKING SERVICES of "standard chartered bank gold credit card". Actually I have lost my card on 24/11/07 and then tried so hard to reach the phone banking to block my card and finally when on 26/11/07 anyhow I contacted the phone banking they told me that there have been three transactions of retail on 24/11/07 worth Rs. 38000 approx. They were not able to tell me that where these transaction has been made and on this ground as per them even I cannot raise the Complain or dispute.
Finally on 27/11/07 again after struggling for 2 hours they told me that one transaction of Rs. 24769 has been made in Reebok, Delhi but they were not able to share the store name with me. Also they disclosed that one transaction of Rs. 10000 and one for Rs. 4096 has been made..... but Where? No answer.
Then they sent me the dispute form and told me to fax it back but only for the Reebok transaction. I faxed it back. Again on 28/11/07 I called they told me that your request for dispute has been forwarded, but when today on 29/11/07 I called them to know the status they are telling me that they have not received the fax but most strange thing is that I have the delivery receipt with me... secondly Today they are saying that there were only one transaction of Rs. 14096,and the most strange thing is after 6 and half day of transaction they are not able to tell me the name of the merchant. They are very irrisponsble..... I have not recieved a single call from them after my so many calls!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
I have been applied for standard chartered bank credit card on[protected].At that time those people said
that it will be processed with in 15 days. But till now I don't know the status of the application, regarding this issue I made so many calls to them but they do not respond well. I was totally frustrated with their poor responce.I dont know to whom should I contact regarding this concern...

I have enrolled Tata AIG through your representative some Dwivedi or Trivedi from Bangalore in July'2009 last year for an amount of Rs.4000/- with insurance, 02 days free stay in selected locations in india and some medical checkup at appollo hospital payable on monthly instalment for one year which has been stopped by me in june'2010 only because your representative told me that if I will not enjoyed any said benefits with in this tenure then I will get back 75% of the money i had deposited. but I have been not get back my money till date. so kindly look in to the matter and arrange for return back my amount as assured by your representative at the time of enrolling me this product. hope for a prompt action on the matter.

I called last 5-6 days before about the status he says your application is under process, But today I call again the customer care for my application status then she says that I've not any records about your application. Please check this.

Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card — removal of process fee

Resp. Sir,
I m not agree with bill statement of Rs. 275.75 for my credit card, (Statement of 5-9-10)
If it is annual fee or process fee for CC., then i don't want to continue my Credit card, because SC Bank's agent was told me that "this card is totaly free of Charge & Life time free", I have also 3, free credit card of other banks, so please do need full to cancel my Credit Card process fee.
If SC Bank can cancel my annual fee or process fee, i agree to continue my SC Credit card otherwise cancel it.

i cancelled my emirates credit card as it was chargeable and applied for another gold replacement card free for life time .instead of delivering me one it says that my card cannot be replaced after confirmation that i will be receiving it after 15 days.they are saying 2 things at a time

Dear concerned: I am Mr Maganti Ramachandram, holder of scb card no: XXXX XXXX XXXX 4749 received sms message asking my consent for billing Rs 4000/-towards advantage card enhancement pkt by 30.11.2010. I am not interested in this pkt and tried to convey by help line numbers. With great difficulty i could get the executive, who informed to call him after one hour.Some how people try to evade to give proper answer for the queries.
I would like to cancel my credit card. What is the required process to do so? I feel like distroying the card and send it to the customer care. Does it work?

Standard Chartered Bank — Manhattan platinum debit card

Previously I have booked a Manhattan Platinum debit card from standerd charterd bank,They have told me that they will deliver the card within 2 weeks,But already 7-8 months passes away & I didn't receive that card,although they r constantly sending monthly bills for that card on the same address of mine.whenever I tried to talk with them they said that they r sending my card shortly,Now all my patience has gone & I told them to cancel my card.But they r telling me that they will cancel if I am agree wid some settlement.They r demanding the outstanding of that card to be paid,but tell me one thing?Why we pay for a card which I didn't received.This has caused continuous harassment for me.Please help me regarding this matter.

I am using Standard Credt Card and made payment usng that card for purchasng tickets .Too my utter shock from that day am sufferng every day as there are 4 different statements come to me, wth high iterest rate and no clarty on what i am suppose to pay, customer executve are waste, They neither know how to talk and niether have clarity on the statements .The amount spent and statements have no relevance .
