[Resolved]  Tata Photon Whiz — Poor tata photon whiz speed

Hi,

I am ashish gupta, i am using tata photon whiz since last 20 days in ramapuram chennai area.
My photon whiz no is — [protected].
When i taken that conncetion, tata indicom executive was saying that
Max. Speed of tata photon whiz is 153.6kbps.
But i am getting only max. Speed 3 to 4 kbps.
Regarding it i registered three complaints[protected],[protected],[protected]
But issue not yet resolved.
When i registered first complaint[protected], next day one technician mr. Kiran visit my home.
But kiran was saying that 3 kbps is max. Speed of tata photon whiz in all over chennai.
So kiran was not able to resolve that issue and without resolving that issue he left from my home.
Again i registered two more complaints[protected],[protected] regarding same issue.
Once again mr. Kiran visit my home but he was saying same wording that 3 kbps is max. Speed of
Tata photon whiz in all over chennai and within 1 min without saying anything he left.
I am calling daily customer care 2-3 times regarding same issue.
But issue not yet resolved.
On 12-sep-2009 i talked to customer care head mr. Nitin, he was saying that another technician
Will visit on 14-sep-2009 till 9:00 pm and issue will resolved 100%. But nobody visit.
I am totally fedup with tata photon whiz.

TATA Indicom / Photon Plus — no service

dear sir
my tata photon plus meid no. is A000001AAD29FD. i bought this connection in jan 2010. i did not use this connection for some time. i got it recharged recently in dec 2010. it is working fine in all places except in misa camp which comes under naogaon distt. i have put up this point in front o[censored]r representative of naogaon branch Mr Gyan but in vain. till now i have not been able to access my account but i am receiving the bill. the errr shown is error 678: the remote computer did not respond.
kindly help me in solving the above mentioned problem

Dear Sir,
It is the complaint from one of your costumer, that the speed of net very-very it is a request to increase the sped of internet. To open any home page of any website it take 4 to 5 minute. Please increase it's speed.

I have bought a tata photon whiz a month before.The dealer told me that the speed for browsing will be 115.2kbps.But it never reach to that speed.Downloading speed is also very poor.please,sort out my complaint.

Tata Photon Plus Salesmen — NOT RECEIVED BILL YET

This is Sonam Manke from Nagpur. I had purchased Internet connection of TATA PHOTON PLUS and the BILL NUMBER IS 1879470 of dated 30/01/2011 from the salesmen Name "Ashish Pande" and "Kanchan Jaiswal" and their phone numbers are [protected] and [protected]. At the time of selling their product they have given assurance of giving home delivery service because I already told that I will be free at evening hour because I am BANK employee and I use to get time in the evening only. After collecting CASH only they have delivered that modem, even they haven't activated connection. Then after I faced problem of ACTIVATING of Internet connection and I called customer care for loddging complaint and my COMPLAINT number is[protected] on 2/2/2011 after that I immediately got response from other Engineers, but the thing is that the salesmen wo promised of delivering each and every thing is reluctant to do that things. Even though I am calling them numerous time for Permanent Bill, they were not receiving my call. They dont have RECEIVED COPY SIGNED BY ME THAT I RECEIVED ALL THE PAPERS AND BILL.. Because of this CUSTOMERS are use to suffer every time and I suffered for one week.
PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL

Tata Photon Whiz — Very low speed

hi i'm Siddharth Sahoo...
i bought my tata photon whiz about a month back. i was promised of high speed connectivity. my tariff plan is the 499 unlimited plan. but i'm getting an upload speed of 0-10kbps and download speed of same frequency. the fluctuation is too much. sometimes it remains dormant at 0 kbps. what should i do?

I use tata photon whitz & I see link speed show 153 or more but downloading speed never cross 15Kbs .

Tata Photon Plus No:922784813 — Exorbitant bills

I have a Tata Photon connection Photon No: [protected], for last two and half months. I am in plan where in I get 3 gb download for the month free and I also pay additional package charges for 10 gb download free during night after 2200 hrs.

For the past two months I have been getting exhorbitant bills i.e for Dec and Jan. Initially for Dec I thought I might have used the net so its ok but then during Jan i hardly used the net and whatever i downloaded was during was after 2300 hrs to be on safe side. Inspite of that I again got a bill of rs. 2935/- where as my bill should have been been about 900 including taxes.

I tried to contact the helpline but inspite of lot of efforts could not get through to the internet department. Every time I got through, inspite of selecting the right option the call would connect to the general department and when the concern person on line tried to connect to the internet section either i kept holding for long for the operator or the call would hung up from the other end. I made a payment of Rs. 1000/- and sent a mail to the customer care. I also tried to check the usage details on line in my account but the details of previous month were not available in the account. I received a mail from customer care officer with an excel sheet with some details, but it was not clearly explained as to how much data transaction was made and from what time to what time. I thus sent a mail back asking for detailed bill report. Thereafter for next two days i kept receiving calls from Photon plus asking for the technical problem i was having with my connection. i told them that i have no technical problems butt issue is pertaining to the bills...on this i received another mail saying your complain has been solved and so we are closing your complain. I replied again through mail that the issue was pertaining to bill but received no reply. Next day I again got a call asking me as what technical problem I am having with my connection. I again said that I am having problem regarding my bill but no one is answering. Again I got a mail saying my complain is solved and they are closing the complain.

I fail to understand as to how they are not able to understand my complain or they are just trying to avoid the topic. This all happened between 5-12 Feb and yesterday again i got a call from Tata photon that my usage is approaching 90 of my total credit limit so I must make some payment. To this I told them that I have pending issues with my previous bill. I was told somebody will get back to me but no one did eventually.....

I want a clear bill and justification of the usage charges...

Tata Photon Mobile Broadband — Not activating equipment and also not submitting address proof documents

I purchased Tata photon broadband equipment through one of sales person for Rs.2500 in Nov '10. I submitted all necessary documents at the time of applying.
It got activated and worked only for 2 weeks. Later connection got disconnected and called up for customer care. They told to submit doc again. But I searched many of tata outlet for submitting documents, nobody accepting the address proof documents.

Sales guy cheated me for rs.2500, that equipment is useless now.

Tata photon broadband — Not activating

I bought Tata photon broadband equipment for rs2500 through one sales guy George([protected]). he cheated me like anything.
only 2 weeks the equipment works fine, after that service got disconnected. I am not able to trace this sales guy after this. No tata retail outlet accepting new address proof documents. So this equipment now useless in my home.

this is the same problem with me and i bought it 2 days ago am completly fed up with it speed

I AM REALL FEDUP WITH TATA PHOTON WHIZ (2G) BECAUSE ITS SPEED IS ERITTEN THAT IT WILL GIVE UPTO 153KBPS BUT HARDLY IT GIVES 5 TO 6KBPS. I HAD TAKEN MANY COMPLAINTS NO. AND 2 TIMES TECHNICIAN CAME AND TRY TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM BUT YET IT WAS NOT SOLVED. SO I REQUESTED ALL PEOPLE TO NOT TRY TO BUY TATA PHOTON WHIZ.
NOW I AM USING MTS MBROWSER 2G BUT IT IS ALSO GIVING VERY LOW SPEED BUT MORE THAN WHIZ. I SUGGESTED THAT YOU SHOULD ONLY BUY 3G USB MODEM OR BROADBAND ONLY.

Tata Photon Whiz has very very slow speed in Darbhanga bihar
i am yashwardhan singh I have bought a tata photon whiz20 days ago.The dealer told me that the speed for browsing will be 75.2kbps.But it never reach to that speed.Downloading speed is also very poor.please, sort out my complaint.

TATAPhotonWhiz — Not Providing Service Properly

With Due respect I like to state you that tataphotonwhize customercare department are very reluctant to provide their services.One operater Yubraj telling we are providing the best speed but when I complained
to him that I am having problem he only saying me it is your PC problem without sending any proper engineer.I am providing 599/-(five hundred ninetynine only per month). But I am not getting their services.
Please takt needfuls to take care not only me but whole customers of India .
