Tata Photon Whiz — Low speed <1 to 2kbps>

i am only getting speed up-to 2 kbps .the company says that i will get up-to 150 kbps speed. they have cheated me. i am very fed up of tata docomo company. from now if i will buy any thing of this company i will think 1000 times.please help me about my speed problem

i have requested for deactivation of my photon whiz connection Post Paid Photon [protected] last week, but till date this is not deactivated . Request for immediate deactivation

I am Raghunath Menon and my A/c No with Tata Indicom Photon Whiz is[protected]. I have been a Photon Whiz costumer since a few years now because I used the connection at Bangalore and when I moved over to my home town Pallakad in Kerala I again took a Photon Whiz connection because of my good experience at Bangalore. But as of now I am terribly unsatisfied with the connection because the speeds are sometimes as ridiculously low as 0-10 kbbs. my requests with customer support did evoke immediate response, but I feel insulted when a bloke comes visiting with a wireless land-line!! and imperiously informs me that the connectivity is down in my area!!...Columbus...I dont need him to tell me that...I know it and that's why I complained!!...when I humbly inform him that it was not like that till yesterday...he gives me a look reserved for imbeciles and consoles me with a declaration...YOUR MATTER WILL BE SOLVED!!... Believe me gentlemen...at my age I still maintain the physical fitness needed to throw this SOB down the stairs...I dont do it because I was brought up well

I still stand by what I said

to speed up your tata photon whiz prepaid/postpaid just follow these steps (windows 7)

1. connect your photon whiz device but don't connect the internet...
2. now right click on MY COMPUTER ICON present on your desktop and then click on MANAGE
3. in left hand side in windows pane click DEVICE MANAGER
4. Now Click Ports (COM & LPT) to expand it
5. Now do Double click on every port and go to the second tab PORT SETTING
6. Now change the Speed of BITS PER SECOND to 128000 and Now Click on Flow Control and change it into HARDWARE
7. do the same thing with each and every port present in the list
8. Press the OK button after doing the same thing with all ports

AND CLEAN ALL THE TEMPORARY FILES BY USING DISK CLEAN UP

UNPLUG YOUR PHOTON WHIZ DEVICE, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER ...


THAT"S IT YOU WILL GET THE GOOD OR MAXIMUM SPEED

This is Sk.Ikbal Hoosen and I am using TATA DOCOMO No. *[protected]*(TATA
Photon Whiz). I am unable to surf the net from *15/10/2012*. After
repeated calls to customer care and complaints, one of the network support
team has ringged me on *17/10/2012* and said that their is some Network
upgradation work going on at my residing area and so many complaints had
came from the same area. He said, it takes some time for the said work
and problem will be rectified by 22/10/2012.

Today is 29.10.2012, but still the problem is not solved.

pls send me...
how to check the balance, validity in our photon+
plz tell me about something how i can check details.

I was using Tata Photon for more than 1.5 yrs since Nov 2011 to feb 2013...but I AM VERY DISSAPPOINTED as the speed promised to me was not given to me it was even worse than 10 kb/hr when cheked on speedometer.com.
I complained let many times to tata photon to rectify the same but as there customer service is very slow i guess the management is also very slow. I haven't got any satisfactory answer apart frm "Maam there is some work going on in your area"... they even didn't bothered to resolve my problem even after probing them to arrange call back.
This was OK but as now a days Dongle are the most important facilitators we have for our personal and professional use. I was left with only to purchase a new service provider.
To my surprise after 9 months i got a call from some person named RK GUPTA - [protected] and he thretened me of police, court and case like things for not paying the bill of tata photon and case registered against me by the company...TO MY ALMOST SHOCK - HOW A RENOWNED COMPANY LIKE TATA PHOTON ... WITHOUT RESOLVING MY PROBLEM ...HOW THEY CAN GIVE MY NO. TO THIS COLLECTION AGENCY... AS IF I AM SOME CRIMINAL.. INSTEAD FOR NOT GIVING ME SPEED AS PROMISED I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS WITH THEM.
I REQUEST ALL OF YOU ..PLEASE THINK 100 TIMES BEFORE PRUCHASING A TATA PHOTON INTERNET CONNECTION AS THIS COMPANY IS NOT PROFESSIONAL OTHERWISE MAY YOU WILL BE THE NEXT ONE TO GET THIS KIND OF HARRASING CALLS .

I have been experiencing slow internet and connectivity problems with my tata photon device (Number- [protected]) for the past 3 weeks. Despite lodging numerous complaints, the problem is still unresolved. Now the customer care has informed me that there is some network issue near film city area, goregaon east, Mumbai, and hence this problem for customers staying nearby. There is absolutely no committment to resolve such issues, that too in a city like Mumbai.
