Air Mauritius — Item stolen from checked in baggage

A "Canon Power shot" Camera in cover was stolen from my checked in baggage in my flight from Mauritius to Mumbai viz. MK748. My Ticket no. is[protected]. I was traveling with my family on 6th May'16.

The way only the Camera was stolen from my baggage while other items appear to have been checked, it is my firm believe that this was with convince or involvement of airline staffs who appear to have had adequate time at their disposal.

What has more troubled me is not the loss of camera which can be replaced but the photographs as 2 cd made during my and family's week long stay in Mauritius.
I dicovered the missing item on opening the baggage at home. I have written to the airlines. They have still to respond.
