[Resolved]  Airtel 4G — Misleading and fraudulent information before selling 4G connection

I was called for a demonstration of Airtle 4G connection and the demo was arranged on 28th April. Airtel representative told many misleading and fraudulent information which led me to convince that I will be getting all the services that I desire. However it was not the case. Even, when I realize everything after taking the service, then I contacted to Airtle support center and after many communication via mail, it seems they are not willing to help me at all. Main grievances from my end are as below I have been offered 5GB unlimited plan and I shall get 128 Kbps speed after 5GB. Though, I think, "Unlimited" tag is misleading and cheating because 128Kbps speed is useless. This is like traveling across the world on Bullock Cart. Airtel representative told me that I shall get 3G+ coverage where 4G is not available but 3G is available. But this is totally a wrong statement and I am getting only 2G service with very low speed. One page is opening in 3-5 min. Airtel representative told me that dongle will support calling while connected to internet and I can talk using laptop's speaker and microphone. This is another wrong statement. Dongle does not even support local usage statistics like other vendor's Tata photon, Relience, MTS etc. I have to repeatedly log into the online Airtel site. The site even does not give me detail connection by connection usage statistics. This is not expected from client perspective. Airtel representative told me I can use other vendor's SIM card in this dongle as well. This is also a wrong statement. I asked to do my bill generation date on the last day of every month as I requested to start my service from 1st May'2014. This is also not full filled. I asked to provide me a xerox copy of filled form. This is not provided. Airtel representative did not inform me about two options, i.e dongle & router. I would prefer to have router but I have realized that you provide two options after purchasing the dongle. Even, speed during demonstration was 13 Mbps whereas I am getting 4 - 5 Mbps which is way lower. I have long mail communication with Airtel representative and I also recorded Artel's representative's conversation for reference. I alslo provided below options to allay my grivances which were ignored by Airtel customer support team. Option 1: I am completely dissatisfied, hence I seek total refund of payment Rs. 2124 Option 2: Replace my dongle with a Router without any additional cost Option 3: Replace the ZTE dongle with Huawei dongle which has more features than ZTE Option 4: Provide a real unlimited plan with minimum 256 kbps speed after 4G data cap limit, 5GB my case Option 5: Ensure 3G service out side of 4G area, e.g specifically at Naihati location where I stay 3 days per week Kindly take necessary action against Airtel 4G team.

I have not received any response after providing my Airtel 4G number on 23rd May'14. I am forced to discontinue the service You can refer Airtel's internal customer care Service Request number 57285684 for detail. Hope, I will not have to deal with Airtel in future. Thanks.
