[Resolved] Airtel — 59059 not working for activating sim | |||
I've ported my no.[protected] from bsnl to airtel and i've also inserted new sim but verification call to 59059 is not connecting. every time i try to call at 59059 it automatically disconnects and also i'm unable to receive incoming calls to my number, along with this there's poor network signals in our locality. My number got deactivated last oct 20th 2017 and i went airtel shop on 21st oct 2017 and re activate the same number. But still incoming SMS and call working outgoing call and SMS not working. I went airtel office and they are saying to call customer care(121) and called 121 and they are saying to call [protected] and called that number saying go to airtel shop again. What to do now.. Its really worried now. its been almost a month over. still not resolved.

I did Airtel portability from Vodaphone to Airtel. My vodaphone sim lost connectivity so I inserted the new sim and try to activate with 59059. But the calls are not going really unhappy to see sim not getting activated. Once i got connected and Airtel signals got displated but as soon as verification call disconnected inbetween automatically, since then No service is displayed. My mobile number [protected]
Even customer care service calls are not going. Let me know why the service is so poor. I have no alternate number, please guie my through wAtsapp. Old number is disconnected and new is not getting connected how i will do.

I port my number [protected] from prepaid JIO to postpaid Airtel on 25 Jan 18 and my JIO sim deactivated on 31 Jan 18. After one day my incoming, outgoing and SMS service started but inter service not started till date.applied for same at a airtel outlet on 25 dec 2017 . I am loved my complaint for above issue to costumer care on 3 Feb 18 but the issue is not solved. The service providers everytime asked your complaint is opened and the same forward to technition to resolved it
Same problem with Airtel. Old sim got disconnected. 59059 not connecting with new Sim. Whenever i dial, it automatically disconnects in 1 second. I'm stranded in between with no connection now. This has happened second time with Airtel. The worst service experience ever. I've been with Airtel for the last 10 years. But i guess I'll move to Vodafone if this is not resolved by tomorrow. When I call 59059, I just get a recording saying that it is not a valid number. Do I need to dial something else first, like a 0? (First day in India)
Same problem ! When I called on 59059 it started telling about some other services.. doesn't asked to connect to tele-verefication concern. My alternative phone number is [protected]
I converted my number from postpaid to prepaid. The postpaid sim has been stopped and the new prepaid number doesn't show any signal yet. Hence, I am not able to call 59059 for activation. Please help.
I port in from aricel. But I unable to connect 59059 it's automatic disconnect. There is a any other process to active my sim.

I converted my number from postpaid to prepaid but not able to call 59059.. I'm not able to receive any calls or messages.. it's been 3 days.. I called customer care they are saying wait until you can call 59059.. atleast please tell me how to port to other networks because I'm not able to send port message also.. I'm Airtel customer since 2006.. very poor service..

Same problem here! I also got sms from airtel saying that once I see signal, I need to call 59059. But calling it connected to bot which keeps telling different services for 5-10 min and doesn't ask to connect for tele-verification. This number is not for activation. Plz RESOLVE URGENTlY!! Hey, I'm facing the same issue tried calling 59059 but its automatically disconnects.
I ported my chennai airtel prepaid to srinagar airtel postpaid. After my old sim stopped working, i replaced it with the new sim that was provided to me by the airtel executive. But my call to 59059 is not going through even though i have recieved the otp for activation and also have recieved the message to insert my new sim.

Same problem...i dont know if they cannot opearte one verifiction number how they can operate an entire network... feeling very bad buying this network..
