Airtel — Airtel fixed line / broadband plan cheating in bangalore | |||||
Hi, I visited airtel showroom on 30-Jan-2016 (Sat) and applied for 999, 40gb, 4mbps plan broadband with 99 booster( unlimited local and std calls). The installation personnel ([protected]) came on 31-Jan-2016 ( sunday) and installed the same and provisioned 2mbps speed (account number [protected]). Upon asking him, he told that the additional 2mbps will be provisioned after 30 mins. Well, nothing happened on same day. I called customer care on 31-Jan-2016 and they said it will take 24 hrs to fix this. I called them again on Monday (1-feb-16) and reported this issue to appellate, 121 etc. via email as well. No action again. I raised a deactivation request on 2-Feb-16. Now, you have sent me an email stating that, it will be processed after 7 days and you will bill me another 7 days charges along with installation charges. Keep it with you. My Comments: It is the duty of the operator to do a feasibility test if the requested plan, service and speed can be provided to the end customer or not. if not, you should not provide or inform customer atleast. Instead, to make easy money, you allotted a connection with 50% of my eligible speed and charging 999+99+ taxes which is absolutely unacceptable. yes, i understand your business to get customers and cheat them. There is no need for any citizen in India to pay this money to get half of the eligible speed when there are other service providers like tikona, act fibernet etc. I want my connection to be disconnected immediately. I WONT PAY ANY COST TOWARDS INSTALLATION CHARGES BECAUSE, YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED ME 4 MBPS SPEED EVEN ONCE AND I APPLIED FOR THAT PLAN. I will consider paying the rent and taxes for the period that i used till my date of deactivation request. If you want, you can sent me a legal notice, appoint any fake or original lawyers to give threaten calls, sent goons, start calling my frequent contacts. Once i get the above treatment, you will see more worse response from me. Well, there is no single fault i have done here except i approached airtel. I dont want any apology emails and calls and dont try your smartness and retention techniques. If the court of law in india says to pay you 1000 rs installation charges for a plan which i never requested, i will see. It is not about 1000 rs.
