Airtel — improper response and rude behaviour | |||
I had gone to an airtel franchise store in prem nagar, dehra dun sometime in second week of sep 2017. I met mr ashish there along with his sales girl in the store named ms pravin. I had gone for number portability of my airtel number from delhi to dehra dun as i have now moved permanently to dehra dun. Mr ashish informed me that the portability would take 8-10 days and then i could get the name changed to my daughter's name as she was using that number. This would take another 3-4 days. Ms pravin was also listening to all this conversation. After waiting for almost 10 days after number portability i contacted ashish. He was undergoing some course. Ms pravin picked up the phone. After that we contacted her number of times to which she replied that the email has been sent to their senior for approval but no reply received. Every time when contacted she gave the same answer. On contacting her on saturday, 07 oct 2017 at 0615 p. M. She said that the store had closed for the day and that we could come at 10 a. M. On monday, 09 oct 2017. On contacting her on monday, 09 oct 2017 she informed me and my daughter that the name change was not possible as it had not been approved. On asking why then we were not conveyed the same earlier during our various calls to her over the past so many days she was very rude and discourteous. Such rude and discourteous behaviour (Disconnecting the conversation by cutting the phone call) with a customer is not expected specially from salespersons employed for airtel, which is such a renowned company world wide. Airtel must insist on franchise stores and other store dealers to employ people with utmost care, otherwise their reputation and sales is likely to suffer. Due to the above mentioned behaviour i have now decided to shift to vodafone. I was with airtel since the last 14 years. In view of the above, it is therefore requested that ms pravin be penalised for her rude and discourteous behaviour and counselled to behave with customers in a polite manner. I have submited all docs and verification completed for number porting. Porting rwquest from reliance [protected] to Airtel. I have followup all custoner service number and visited customers service store but no ine can able to resolved my issue. pl help its pending since 28thSept.
