[Resolved] Airtel — Troubling us for new connection | |||||
I had applied online for a new airtel wifi broadband connection and in response, one person came and took check from my sister along with her address and id proof with a promise to install the connection within 3 days but after two days, we got a call from him saying that he required pan card which was not available with my sister so i told him that he can use the same address proof and use my name for connect and gave him photograph of my pan card. he said that he needs one more check as the check was given by my sister and not me. he promised to return my check and get my new check. after that he did not respond and did not take my calls. i called airtel and registered for a complaint against this. the service guy took all my details and even the number and name of the person who had connected with us earlier.in response i got a call today i. e. 10th july 2016 and the guy said that he does not have any details and requires me to search for the sales persons name and number again. i told him that number was given in complaint so he said i need name. i was upset and i said that i cannot keep remembering names of all the sales people in airtel and once i have given him earlier then why do they keep asking me every time. he said "mam i cannot do anything, aap police ko complaint kar dijiye (you register a police complaint) and he disconnected. if this is the kind of service we receive from company then it is very bad. they have all my proofs and even check which they can easily misuse. please consider my complaints. i have already wasted over 1 week just to get a wifi connection and that too when my mom and sister both use airtel mobile connection and i had used airtel broadband earlier. if they do not wish to provide us the connection, they can simply say no instead of harassing us like this and giving us insults from their sales people Was this information helpful? | |||||
