[Resolved]  Airtel — Unable to Recharge Online after Postpaid to Prepaid Migration

Address:600096

State: Tamil Nadu
Circle: Chennai
Number:[protected]

For 2 months now, I have been suffering due to arrogant behavior of Airtel with no balance in my primary SIM.

I had migrated from prepaid to postpaid in October. After migration, I couldn't recharge online. After going to the relationship center nearby (Velachery, Chennai), they asked me to wait for a month for the migration to be completed. They also say that this is a common problem when there is a migration from pre to post.

But, even now, after a month of waiting, I cannot recharge online. Cannot recharge through Airtel's website / PayTM / freecharge.

Annoyingly, all complaints were marked as resolved after a generic reply. There was no callback / check asking if the problem is resolved. The problem is still there and they refuse to accept it. Here are the details of the complaints raised.

Complaint Numbers: PR[protected], PR[protected], PR[protected].
Airtel Trnsaction ID for Recharge:[protected]

More annoying is that Airtel charges for talking to customer care. Even when I tried to contact through another number, there was no resolution given.

Regret for choosing Airtel again.

Above reply seems to be just to show that they care. In reality, no one contact me regarding the issue.

Tried to recharge online on 23rd December and the recharge failed.

Airtel seems to be very careless at their customers.

Akanksha, there was no communication from your side to ask about the problem. No resolution was shared by any means - SMS, Calls, Emails. These replies from your end are just to show that you care. In fact, no action was taken, not even an email/SMS.

Problem is also not solved yet.

Understanding that Airtel doesn't care, I have decided to shift to other Network (A better solution)

There is no point in raising more complaints when none of our complaints are resolved.
