Amazon.in — Unethical behaviour (no return or refund of my defective phone) | |||||

[protected]@gmail.com Full name: jyoti prakash jena Issue: I had ordered a lenovo vibe k5 worth rs 6, 999 from amazon.in (Seller: green mobile) with order id:[protected]. And i found the phone defective and the issue was in that particular phone only (Some of my friends have puchased the same phone and they are working fine). So i contacted amazon customer care and they told me that refund will not be possible and replacement would be possible. I agreed and when i went to the online website www.amazon.in, there option showed me for refund and i happily applied for refund on 16/8/16. I was instructed to print out few details and paste them on the package so i did it and the person would come on 17/8. I waited untill 18/8/16 and nobody came to pickup the product. I called customer care and they told me within 19th definitely a person would come. On 19/8 at night i again called customer care 1st they told that definitely someone will come on 20th and again they called me and told me that refund is not possible replacement is possible. Because of this reason there was this delay. I yelled at them, they could have atleast informed me. However, the care executive told me to cancel and again apply for replacement. She did it on behalf of me actually. So on 19/8/16 i again applied for replacement of the same (Order#[protected]. I again took printout of all the things and pasted and i was instructed that the person will come next-day and within 3-6pm. On 20th a person called me at around 11:30am and told me that he was standing at my door. I told i was out of station. He said 'no problem when you reach home you can call me on the number i'm calling from or you can directly give the package at irc village office'. I agreed and when after reaching home i called that number ([protected]) i reached a voicemail saying welcome to bluedart customer care kindly call on [protected]. I called to that number and they asked me for awb. I provided them with that and they told me reverse pickups are not handled by bluedart, kindly contact amazon. Again i called amazon and the care excutive told me the product will be picked up at anycost by 20th or max by 21st. On 21st morning also i called care again. Nobody has come to pickup the product. The last date for pickup of the product is 22nd and after that i will be stuck with this defective product forever and my 7000rs are gone. Kindly help me on this issue and take necessary action again amazon.com. Thank you very much. Desirable resolution - i dont want the replecment anymore. I will never ever buy any product from amazon again. Kindly refund me my money. I will purchase a phone from local market. Was this information helpful? | |||||
