[Resolved] Amazon India — company not accepting return o[censored]nboxed/unopened mobile | |||||
I had ordered Oppo Realme1 phone by Order #[protected]. After delivery, I realised it has no selfie flash. I requested Amazon for a return and refund, but they refuse to take my request citing company policy. As per their policy, they cannot take unboxed/unopened product. Ironically they take back a damaged / defective product happily. It is a simple issue wherein Amazon could have initiated a return by taking possession o[censored]nboxed phone and bill. I had agreed to pay packing and transportation costs. The phone is in great demand and frequently out of stock on their website.A return could have certainly given them and the seller an opportunity to sell again.However unfortunately, Amazon has behaved like a mere online seller. Today, even Flipkart, Snapdeal and Tatacliq happily accept an unboxed/unopened product. I believe this is an injustice to genuine customers. Please redress my grievance. Amazon has not replied after the complaint has been forwarded. I had no option but to sell the phone at a discount of 500 Rs.
