Amazon India — Refund missing item

On 16th sep i placed an order for Nikon DSLR, On 17th i received my order but there was no camera inside the box. Immediately i contacted customer service and they requested me to wait for 24 hrs within 24 hrs we will issue refund, next morning i got an email stating that refund cannot be done. Here is the conversation Greetings from Amazon. As informed you earlier your request for a refund on this order has been denied: #[protected] We are unable to issue a refund or replacement for this order because our records show the order was complete when it left our fulfillment center. In addition, the carrier has confirmed that the parcel was intact and undamaged when it was delivered to you. Note that failure to comply with our policies may result in the closure of your Amazon.in account.
