Hi,
My name is ng yee juan, i would like to make the strong complaint letter to ambank staffs what i faced thru.
The case just happen, my sister was helped me to make the car payment via online transfer from her bank account as recently me are based at london for study so unable to make the payment for myself.
They was rejected the payment and refund back the money without any info. And me and my mother (Car guarantor) are even never received any alarming or warning from ambank.
Last week, the car toll are stuck and toll away my car from my house unreasonable. Next day morning, my mother walk in to ambank penang branch to ask, the nice manager help us to called to head quarter and only find the problem. On the phone, the customer service only info that the payment make by online transfer rm2000+ are rejected by someone, when that time we only realized but its was too late. They need me to bear the toll fee cost about 1k and the interest charges. Finally me are agreed to paid the payment as my sister need the transport to attend to the university everyday.
And they need me to provide and email the authorized letter for mr. Saiful, after few days he only reply he was rejected. I'm feel disappointed and help less, i forced to and paid the amount rm2000k, but my case are even never solve, my car still on hold and the charges will increase and i have to paid the second times.

    Customer service is horrible! Staff does not seem to know what they are doing.

    Unreasonable overstatement of loan approved in the system for over a million! When we approached the staff through phone call we are given an answer that it was an system error and stating in their system the figures are fine and state that things will be back to the appropriate amount.

    The unfriendly staff also gave us an irresponsible answer stating that the staff responsible for our account has resigned. Alright fine. However, when we asked is there anyone that could assist in the issue above, the answer we got was "we have no one available at the moment".

    After several months, the system still show the same overstated loan amount! This time we went personally to the branch (Kuching premier 101). The staff who served us mentioned that the excessive amount was due to interest charges and management fees. Can anyone please enlighten me on the calculation of interest charges and management fees which derived in an overstatement of loan amount of rm 1million.

    Management we request for your cooperation in solving the issue and also to improve the standard of the branch's service. I understand that personal information could not be shown here. Do let me know ways i could get in touch with your side.

      My name is wong chee meng, i have been request the original car grant to be send to kota damansara branch since september 2017, and until now i havent receive it yet (Alomost 4 mths) and in between i have follow up and call to the careline & kota damansara branch, i think more then 10 times i called, and everytime i call the careline operator, they give me the same answer : "wil check with the person incharge (Hire-purchase dept) and will update me the status..., but i never receive any call back from ambank.... So,... I really disappointed with the bad & slow response service that ambank given. Pls take serious action for my case... Dont drag until next year to solve this..!!!

        Yesterday i go to help my sister paid she's monthly repayment housing loan (Account block) found this branch (Klang wisma palmbase) most staff different face. When my turn, staff name santha to serve me, here our communicate: (M for me, s for santha)

        M: hi, saya nak bayar housing loan.
        S: account block? You xsuruh depan call ke? Owner siapa?
        M: kakak. S: nunber telephone? M: dia kat singapore. S: suruh la dia bayar kat sana la!
        M:... S: berapa nak bayar. M: rm300
        Santha look me few second... S: duit mana, i mau duit saja!
        Ok, i pass money to her. She suddenly very emo... S: aiya, ini perlu call, saya pun xdapat call, kenapa xsuruh depan call??
        Colleagues next to her (He had serve me few months ago) also said: suruh colleague yang belakang call la!
        Ok, she do it and pass back money to me.

        Colleagues belakang ask: owner is? Got any letter to supposed? M: my sis now at singapore. The authorised letter already pass to person incharge.

        S: kenapa xbawa receipt last month?
        I show phone m: tadi show ialah last month punya. S: receipt ada telephone number, next time ingat bawa!
        M: staff xmasuk number i bawa pun xguna kan?
        She print out receipt s:ok, next month ingat bawa ini.

        I feeling not manners... If you joking with smiling, i can accept. But santha muka musam only...

          I am kumutha krishnan, my fathers car payment was in pending, when i want go make payment the account was blocked and i called collection dept to open the account to make payment... I was explained my situation i said paid for one month payment first then i will arrange other pending payment also, but staff refused and force me to pay two months payment... Then i called again and i talked to other staff, said cant because the notice already out, but i checked in system still have time for notice.. Then the staff talked very rude to me. Different person give different opinion... Which one is correct?? I am not runaway without paid?? When i paid they dont want accept... I need clear details of your notice system. Can you?

            Hi, my name is nadia. I called the customer care for more than 10 times. Each time the operator transfer me to the respective department i will be ringing endlessly that i have to call up again and again before someone really picks up my call.

            My inquiry was related to car registration card. I need it urgently for my insurance claim. The first officer told my registration card is with ambank klang branch. I told them to email me a copy. Everyday i called cause i have yet to receive any email from the branch. The customer service officer were really not helping to expedite the process and even told to go to klang branch to get a copy. How could?? I work and stay in negeri sembilan. Tried calling the branch no thru the numbers given by customer care officer. No one picks up the call.. None. Im sorry but this shuld be the lousiest customer service i have ever encountered.

            i encounter the same problem, been asking for transfer since i receive letter in June, they said ok will arrange to send to KL sentral branch to collect on 2nd July. went there office not open, i called HQ they said in their record this branch shud be open today, maybe bcoz of hari raya they closed. then some time later i received call frm ipoh branch ask me to collect, i work in KL, i said i already ask to transfer, but the officer said it was still with her in ipoh, if passed 20th august it will be sent back to klang. my mom went to collect on my behalf they ask her to go KL branch to do verification only can collect, she went with me to time square branch to do verification, at there we check again, and they said the card is in Klang. so in the bank i called to ask them transfer they said after 14 working days only will reach. i called after 14 working days they said they ask me call back again after 3rd Nov. today i called HQ they ask me call ipoh again, i called and nobody pick up still.

              1st thing my ambank id need to reset and locked, i would like to reset
              But it failed.

              I rather go to berjaya branch there for assistance, just can help me to call over center, ok fine.

              It request to verify the few question then reset also ok. But they dun...

              After 7pm i do call again reset, also cant.

              What do u actually can help???

                Receive letter since June, bank inform to collect car reg. card. im staying in KL, canot go ipoh bank to collect. ask to transfer to kL- CS replied ok will proceed, went there branch close, called HQ CS, she said maybe due to Raya they close. ask transfer back to ipoh, until now canot get. hard to call.

                  Suggestion
                  Bank must display summary of the total gst and bank charges at the end of the final page of the monthly statement.

                      I would like to complain on the delay of refund for my housing loan that has been fully settled on 10 july 2017. I was informed that i should get the money towards july month end but unfortunately i am yet to receive the money up until today (27 sept 2017).

                      I have made queries and close follow up with the team in-charge and the team keep on giving dates one after another. However, i did not get the money yet. It become worst as nobody actually take an initiative to inform me on the delay or whatever until i am the one who raise the query. I assume no one is looking into this to monitor on the refund. This is very bad services.

                      Please escalate this matter and refund back my money to my bank account immediately and i cannot wait to hold for another time.

                      This is the bad experience that i ever face dealing with bank.

                        I went to sungai siput, perak branch to open a current account for my company and was forced to signup a saving package of rm150 per month for great 10 years.

                        To which, we are not happy and turn down the package. After we sternly mentioned that we are not interested in the saving package. Upfront our application to open a current account was rejected.

                        When we question more, the person unwillingly take our application and told anyway it will be rejected since you didn't take the package.

                        Today, i received a call from this number[protected] and said that my application was rejected and no reason was given.

                        To your information, my car loan is with your bank, few months back my gold credit card was approved with your bank and my payment 100% ok.

                        Then why application to open a current account was rejected.. Without valid reason.

                        Is it just we doesn't want the saving package my application was rejected or the person in sungai siput doesn't submit my application at all...

                        I need solid reason for the rejection and should it need i will go thru press to get it sort it out as i'm really disappointed with the treatment we receive at your branch and the rejection too.

                            Pada 11 dan 12 julai 2017, saya telah menerima panggilan daripada pegawai ambank kuala lumpur[protected] berhubung dengan perkara di atas. Perkara yang memusyikilkan saya adalah adakah tawaran itu wujud? Saya khuatir itu panggilan scam dan tidak semena-mena akaun kad kredit digodam dan diambil duitnya. Tawaran yang disebut oleh 'pegawai itu' ialah rm12000.00 dan akan dimasukkan dalam akaun peribadi untuk melangsaikan baki pinjaman kad kredit. Maklum sahaja banyak kes penipuan yang melibatkan kewangan sekarang. Mohon pencerahan daripada pihak tuan.

                                Complaint:on 11/7/23017, we had a telecommunication with the customer service about the retail interest for 2 months, statement of may-108.60 and jun -145.95. The customer service advised us to make a complaint in order to waive or get the refund.
                                I hope the company will take the necessary action as soon as possible.
                                I hope no more interest charges will be shown on my next statement due to it not my fault.

                                  As mentioned on the above subject, on beginning ofJune, I applied the supplementary cards for my hubby and daughter. I had spoken to Ms Kuan that I need cards urgently due to we are going oversea trip on 1st week of July. According to Ms kuan there is no problem to obtain the cards within 2 weeks times. Last week on 29/6/17, I made a call to Ms Kuan again to check why I still not receive the cards which I need it urgently. She will check for me but too bad no feedback from her until today ( 4/7/17 ) I called online customer service to check the status. Very sad that, the system does not show my application at all and I called again to Ms Kuan today, she update me that the system is down thus all the application can be processed. I feel very disappointed the services given by ambank despite I told to Ms Kuan that I need the cards urgently. She told me that she can't do much. It is the way Ambank provide the service to customers ???

                                    On 19/6/17, almost to 6pm, using cimb card i tried to withdraw rm1250 from ambank atm inside 7-11 pinggiran gombak.. My balanced in acc had been cut but no money out from atm.. Call ambnk cust serv, made a report for me, and i must wait 7working days, which hari raya in the same week.. Never mentioned at me to make a report at cimb, so i didn't report.. Untill now, after hari raya, 28/6/17, i didnt get my money.. I wanna see any compensation shall i received or not for their problem.. Not my fault at all.. Thank you because ambank purely sop follower, even hari raya is coming, no empathy or reconsidering current situation.. Thank you ambank, wish u get iso for your sop dedication.

                                      I received my AmBank credit card in February and made a purchase that month. On 26 April I received a call to say that I have not paid my credit card bill and was advised to call the bank, which I did. The Customer Service personnel then realised that my email had been wrongly entered and proceeded to correct it and raised a report as I was then told I had to pay for the late charges although it was the bank's error.

                                      He advised me to pay for the late charges in case I was penalised and said that he would raise a report to the management for my case. I made an interbank transaction then to cover the bill. When I received my April statement on May 4, I was penalised yet again. On enquiring, it seems that the transaction was not an immediate one and so another late charge was payable. I then received the February and March e-statements on May 6.

                                      I received my May statement today, but am disappointed and upset to note that AmBank has to date not credited the late charges which I should not have to pay for as it was an error by the bank.
