Avadi Municipality Complaints & Reviews

Hi,
I am from RC Complex, Nehru Bazaar Avadi. I received a property tax notice from the municipality few days back. I have been quoted 4times higher as SUC charges from my property tax(For 6 Months). I don't understand how it is calculated and decided to meet the respective revenue officer along with a formal letter. Unfortunately, I didn't get a proper response. I could see there are huge differences on the amount that my neighborhood have received.
Moreover, the street is privately maintained by the building owners every day. however, I am ready to pay a minimum SUC charges that I am supposed to pay government for Clean India scheme.
Please find attached the copy of my request letter.
Looking forward to pay the property tax without any delays.

I have been repeatedly requesting on this platform to look into the matter.

Garbage accumulated in the vacant land very next to mosque and a kindergarden. School.

It's become a mosquito breeding place as well as the garbage flying on road every where.
Garbage drops into the drainage as well blocking the flow of gutter.

We would appreciate you for a steady instruction to the workers to keep the sorounding clean. They keep demanding money to every residents.

Garbage collection at homes in saraswathi nagar, Thiruninravur is not being done regularly. She often goes on leave and no one is sent as replacement.

I was residing at no. 27, 4th street, pudhu nagar, kamarajar nagar, avadi, chennai 600071. In front of my house drainage water is logging. We face extreme difficulty leaving the house. Road is completely filled with drainage from neighboring houses. Walking in this area will leads us harmful diseases.

There is no platform facility at PARUTHIPATTU Avadi, near velammal vidyalaya and hazel apartments.

Passerby have to walk in middle of road to commute to school as there us drainage water stagnation also. Kids are finding it difficult.

I have noticed that dengue fever is increasing in avadi in my house two people are affected, so kindly please make a note of it and take immediate action

I am a resident from Morai.
The road at Subramaniyan Nagar Phase II, Morai that's fourth left and last right from Sai baba temple is very bad due to last rains.
None are initiating to atleast put some rocks or mud in the stagnating water.
It's getting too dangerous for people who travel by that road as there's more possibility to slip and fall into pits.
Kindly do the needful.

This is Vijayaraghavan from Vaishnavi Nagar 7th stThirumullaivoyal. Drainage lorry earlier used to charge 1800/- then it was 2400, and now they say per load 3000/-. Moreover they do not come when we book and always for past few months say vehicle problems. Having paying tax regularly what is a solution you have. Can’t we regulate the operators? When we will get drainage connection ??

I am A. Benny, working as an Executive Engineer in a government organisation residing in the ward no.48, Muthapudupet of Avadi Municipality.
My house property tax new assessment no.is 012/048/00796 and the old assessment no.is 012/048/46314.
I have been approaching the Avadi municipality office to remit the Drainage Deposit and as routine yesterday I have approached Ms. Kavitha and requested her to make the challan for making the payment in the counter.
She's expecting bribe to make the challan and for this reason she was sending me back telling reasons.
Since I am not willing to bribe, yesterday she abused and humiliated me and sent me back with out making the payment.
So please consider my request and help me in paying the Drainage Deposit through online payment.

We are requesting with Avadi Corporation more than a year for the Road Renovation along with Rain water sewage System. This Rain days were literally make the people to suffer to walk and drive on the roads. We dont have the Proper Roads. All the nearby areas were getting renovated frequently but only Jayaram Nagar THirumullaivoyal Roads were getting unnoticed to the Corporation. Please do the Needful.

My neighbors house underground sewage water connection overflow last one month of public walkway road...some where blockage drainage system here over flow on the road...this issue last two yeras we are facing this problam...so that out street people facing too much health issue and tenguee fever and too much mosqitos..also this street no proper drainage system...even rain water and household used water also not able drain properway...so that please sir...take action immediately and solve this above mentioned both issue...thank you...

Water stagnation problem every november and December its same issue happening again and again, sand roads are damaged

I want to bring your kind attention to the poor condition of roads in pandiyan nagar area (pandiyan nagar 2nd south main road, pandiyan nagar main road, pandiyan nagar north main road) located in govarthanagiri, avadi chennai -600071.
It is with the deepest regret that, i have to bring to your notice that the sub-standard conditions of road in our area. for the last few years the road has been almost impassable.. the surface of the road is broken by the heavy rains. so, the road gets flooded even after a slight rain. there are big potholes on the road. the uneven road is danger for vehicles and two wheelers also walkers in the road waters . in night times peoples and childrens those who walking in road water facing a pathetic situation with the snakes which are roaming in water.
This is for your kind information and necessary action. so, i request you to kindly look into this serious issue and resolve it as soon as for the well-being of the citizens.

Opposite to Gandhiji Matriculation school there is big stone on the Road disturbs Padestrians and Public to remove quickly.

In my area rain water is staged and all are throughing garbage in that, so water is dumbed full of garbage, so that dirty smell, poisonous insects and dengue mosquitos are coming in our street.
