[Resolved] Bajaj Allianz — Rejected Claim for NCB | |
Dear Sir/Madam. I had first party insurance of my TVS Apache bike on 25th September 2019 from Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd. On 3 July 2020, my bike was stolen I had a police complaint done on time. After doing all the paperwork, the company dismissed my claim saying that I have availed 25% No claim bonus (NCB) while I am only eligible to take 20% NCB. After this I realized that I had a mistake, but this mistake happened inadvertently, not deliberately I am a common man not an insurance expert, but I understand that Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd. hires educated & expert people in it's office. Why such educated & expert people didn't informed me that I have taken 5% more NCB before I filed the claim, why I did not get any email or call from Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd. saying that you have taken 5% discount wrongly return it. Did they remembered all this after filing the claim? I have been asked about this by Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd. by letter but I have not received any reply. In Insurance policy Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd. have clearly mentioned on page no. 2 column 19 "19. NCB (No Claim Bonus) claimed by you and granted by us based on your declaration of no claim during your previous previous policy : -25 %." that NCB claimed by you & granted by us. Why they granted?
