High electricity bill and misguidence

My electricity consumption per month ranges from rs 800 to 1000 and summer bills vary from 1200 to 1700. However, the amount i have been charged for the may is rs 4524 which is exceptionally high.

cheating on monthly electricity bill

very high electricity bill

Hi, i'm staying in 2bhk, usually i get bill around 700 to 800 rs.
This time 15/6 period, i'm given bill of rs3474 which is very very huge...

I have no airconditioner or cooler, no inverter at all.

Using led tv and led lights.

Often facing low voltage, overnight powerfailures during rain etc, so no chance i should be billed this very high amount.

excess billing

discrepancy in the bill receipt

Rr no sh40102, bill no[protected] shows amount to be paid rs 4311/ including arrears of rs 1978/. Why this arrears? Bill amount is being regularly paid through karnataka bank, 9th block jayanagar for a decade or more.

correction in spelling of my name in electricity bill

I am a new resident of this flat and got the bescom details changed to my name from the previous owners name recently.. My name in the bill is raghavendra manjunath mattur annappurna mattur whereas it should be raghavendra manjunath mattur annapurna mattur. I received a message stating that need to pay rs 9077!!! For month 13 apr - 13 may 2018.

Initial bill handed over as hard copy during reading was rs 617 which was paid on 26 may 2018.

Checked in bescom web page, with detailed bill mentioning 'manual audit short claim - rs 9012" - i couldn't understand the reason for this amount in the bill.

Upon inspection, found out an entry in the bill manual audit short claim 1458.00.

We are very poor people please dont make us pay so much in the name of electricity.

Low voltage in the area

Our locality has been facing a low voltage issue for the past few months. Bescom was supposed to install an extra transformer but there is no news of it. The voltage reading on the meter fluctuates between 140 to 150 volts which is way below the required optimum voltage. BESCOM helpline number 1912 is always busy(Resource allocation is very poor)

So many time I have observed that the BESCOM helpline number is busy for a stretch of whole hour.. Even though you call them continuously, its always busy(not everyday). They should increase the resources. With this less number of resources managing whole Bangalore is very difficult. Somehow contacted EE Ashok(Under Shivaji Nagar), He resolved it in no time.. Thanks a lot to Mr.Ashok EE for his swift action....

Failure to acknowledge online payment

For month of March 2015, I made a payment of Rs. 839 through

Street lights

The street lights on the 2nd Cross and 9th A Main to 9th C Main Hosahalli, Vijayanagar Bangalore 560040 are not working( not turned on), as a result of which there a total dark patch of about 200- 400mts. This will definitely work to the advantage of miscreants who can trouble passersby on the road during night hours. It is absolutely scary for ladies to walk on the road after dark.

WRONG CALCULATION IN BILL

I am staying in munnekolla, marathahalli. My nov bill units has wrongly calculated. I always get bill RS. 500-600( around 100-150Units)

Very high electricity bill

Hi,

I am staying in a small 1 BHK house where I generally use 1 table fan, 1 laptop and 1 or 2 lights for around at max 9 hrs per day. This month my electricity bill shows that 210 units have been consumed and the bill amount is Rs. 942.

It is never possible, there is high probability that there has been some manipulation done near my meter box. Can you please investigate it as soon as possible?
