Booking.com — Refusing the confirmed hotel booking.

We had made a booking on 03.08.2015.from www.booking.com for Hotel Royal Orchids, at Brindavan Gardens, Krishna Raja Sagar, Mysore. We made a booking for 7 rooms for travel on 25th Dec 2015 to 27th Dec 2015 We had received a confirmation from www.booking.com on our [protected]@rediffmail.com, 1st booking Id[protected], Pin code-1673, 5rooms for 2 nights 2ndbooking Id[protected], Pin code-3534, 2rooms for 2 nights Total 7 rooms. We have sent a copy of the mail received from www.booking.com to the Hotel Royal Orchids at Brindavan Gardens, Krishna Raja Sagar, Mysore. on the 1st October 2015, and also there was a telephonic conversation of the booking with the Hotel and they said yes it is confirmed. There was another telephonic conversation with the Hotel on 18th October and yet it was confirmed. So on 18th Dec 2015, as we just called up hotel to inform about the check in on the 25th Dec 2015 for 7 rooms booked. The Hotel instantly refuses us that there is no such booking, we were shocked to hear that as there were 2 telephonic conversation with the Hotel confirming the booking. Now we contacted www.booking .com, they also said the hotel is not available & fully booked. So in this condition after receiving the confirmation of the booking on 03.08.2015 from www.booking .com, also confirmation over the telephone twice from the hotel. we had guests arriving from Delhi, Kochi & Hyderabad. So on the basis of above www.booking.com is not at all responsible, today being such a big travel portal, it is their duty to look into the matter very seriously. And the Hotel is least bothered, they just have to say there is no such booking. We appeal to the higher authorities to take the necessary disciplinary action on both the www.booking.com website and the Hotel Royal Orchids, at Brindavan Gardens, Krishna Raja Sagar, Mysore. And reply to us.

I had booked OYO room through booking.com at Munnar wef 10 Feb 18 to 12 Feb 18. I was confirmed the booking through e-mail. However, on reaching the hotel (Hotel SN Munnar), I was told that only rooms booked through OYO app are allowed and I was denied due to over subscription on that day.
