On 27.11.2018 my daughter pinki ambaweta hired a auto rickshaw bearing no.6836, 6856 or 6876, i am not sure from aiims (Entry gate) to shakurbasti railway colony (Rani bagh) at about 10.50 hrs am. She was carrying the file which contains the documents aiims card, test reports etc. Since start of her treatment in aiims i. E. November, 2014 or so and forgotten to take that file with her while getting down at rani bagh railway colony. The aiims...

Hello team,
I am a resident o[censored]lhasnagar, if you see in ulhasnagar we have shared rickshaw system because of this rickshaw drivers are sitting 5 seats in one rickshaw if we tell them we are not going to sit on 5th seat they are abusing us or shouting on us though they have permit only for 3 seats in one rickshaw and police is also not taking any action on them

Refuse Ferry by Auto Driver - Strict action needs to take

Last night around 11.00 pm at Phule Road Rickshaw Stand Dombivli West, I requested Auto Driver to take ferry for Garibacha Wada but he refused saying he has to go home and will take only Umesh Nagar Ferry. I requested saying all 3 Auto in Que front of him has taken Umesh Nagar Ferry and all other Wada people are standing but he started quarelling with me saying bad words to me. The Auto No is 5026 MH04 or MH05 not sure but the 5026 auto number is confirmed.

Rude and unfair attitude of auto driver

Hyderabad traffic police must take strict action against rude attitude of auto rickshaw drivers in Hyderabad. These Autorickshaws are squeezing the innocent people who are desperately in need of transport.
I wish to share my experience with the TRAFFIC POLICE AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC like me who are being cheated by the auto drivers daily.
It so happened that today I wanted to go to exhibition grounds from women's college Koti . The auto driver demanded 80 rs . The distance to exhibition grounds from koti is not very far as you all might be knowing. I told him to use the meter but he refused. When I said I will matter to the top authorities and I started noting his auto number, he became nervous and reduced the fare to nearly half the price and was ready to take me to my destination point at 50rs. His auto NUMBER is AP9Y8880.
On another occasion one auto driver put the meter on seeing the traffic police nearby area. Otherwise he would have most probably taken me on his own fixed fare.
If this attitude of autos continues to be a regular habit, the hard earned money of innocent people will be looted by easy means and they end up with losing everything and eventually become poor and auto driver will become rich by unfair means.
Lastly I would request the concerned authorities to take strict action against these auto drivers.

I also got fed up with uncivilized auto rickshaw drivers in Hyderabad. I don't understand, if taxi/cab can run through meter, why auto rickshaw drivers act so smart? Generally when they are in gang outside any hospital, theatre etc, if you start bargain with one driver, 4-5 drivers will join them and start talking nonsense. Its impossible to convince them, since they are low grade uneducated barbaric human beings. Whatever logic I put in the argument, it failed to reach their brain, so there a big communication gap between them and me. I always avoid auto rickshaw in Hyderabad, as I always go alone.
Once I was returning from Apollo Hospital, and tried to ask a auto rickshaw driver, then claimed Rs 80, for only 3 kms. I told them about the distance, then they replied that they cannot survive with kms, and 80 is very less, others will charge Rs 180. This is outrageous. I went to hospital from my room via Ola Cabs, and it took only Rs 50. Why this auto rickshaw department act so smart?
In my opinion, the solution I propose is that every auto rickshaw should have a registered authentic meter and any driver not using meter should be fined and prosecuted legally. If possible, their license should be seized. Police should do periodic checking of all auto rickshaw driver for their license and meter.

The Auto driver kept shouting that I am not allowing him to take the main road and not giving him extra money as well for the shortcut. He stopped the auto in middle of no where and refused to go further till I give him extra money. He started the auto only when I started dialing traffic help desk number, but kept on shouting the entire way about giving extra money. Its a bank holiday today and all the roads are clear of traffic, I told him I was getting late but he kept driving at 20 KM per hour. Saying I spoilt his day and spat. His Name is Shiva S,

Auto rickshaw

This has become a tradition in Goregaon East - Sai Baba Complex for Rickshaw drivers to do their autocracy in deciding the customers & travel location. None of the auto drivers will take the passenger according to customer demands, Infact most of them will stop ask & without reacting will take away the rickshaw as in they are doing any favour for customer's by stopping & listening.
This is so embarassing in rainy seasons to get wet & keep on waiting for these stupid low class cheap people who are so inhumane to keep the passengers stranded on the roads.
I would request Mumbai Traffic Police to take severe action against these drivers & would also plead to assign atleast 1 traffic police near Oberoi International School for facilitating the inhabitants.

high charges and misbehaviour
Hi,
This is to bring to your noitce that the rickshaw drivers in the Cidco i.e.Navi Mumbai are unrealistic in methods of charging and misbehaving with a customer.
They never run their meters and ask for half return charges wherever we go in Navi Mumbai, even if it is day time or night time. They attach mirrors all over their rickshaw and stare at the customers and if it is couple sitting behind then the drivers want them to sit as per their wish and how they want to sit, it could be a family also.
They are more bothered of what is happening in the rickshaw looking in front and driving which again hazardous.
All of do not come from a rich background to pay these rickshaw-wala's high rate, even we earn to live and according to me Navi -Mumbai's transportation charges are higher than comparing to Mumbai, so they shouldn't charge the customer's as per their wish and should run their meter. They fight and use abusive languages when asked to run on meter. Mainly the villagers staying in TTC industrial Area, MIDC and Millenium Business Park threatens the customers on Daily basis they get down on raising hands if we raise any case against them.
We being Indian citizens and basically people born and bought up are also scared to fight against them due to reason of indescent behaviours. We need to get down and stop this, we need to get a rule where Auto drivers stop this kind of Act.
Please help us to come out of such circumstances so that we can live our lilfe normally and enjoy the CIDCO atmosphere, instead of getting away due to such reasons.
We would be very much obliged to the department on taking appropriate measures on these Auto drivers.

sir/madam,we at bangalore are facing hardships with the auto drivers since most of thm refuse to go to the location ask...and some r too rude n demand extra money..
whn we ask thm to set the meters, they blantly refuse n say "who sets the meters these days.?" and demands money like a shopkeeper does...pls look forward into this issue..

auto — Charges very high
sir,I am working in manikonda area. I stay in madhapur. From last two years i have been waiting for APSRTC services from madhapur to manikonda area.
We are nearly 4000 employess going daily by autos from madhapur to manikonda area. Autos here raise the prices if petrol rates goes high but do not decrease if petrol rates comes down.Even though some o[censored]s ask to decrease the prices as auto is the only service in this area they reply us in rash way.
Autos here drive very rashtly in order to go for next trip.
We have no other service in this area except autos. For share auto of 5 members we have to pay 100rs total to go to office. When there is urgency we have to pay more than 100 to auto valla to come back to home.
Also late night we have to wait for 1 hour or so till all 5 members do not get into the auto. Also its becoming very difficult to travel in autos in night time for girls due to the rash behaviour of autos.
I want to request APSRTC to please provide bus service from madhapur to manikonda. As nearly 3000 employees go in this area definitely APSRTC will have profits in this route.
I humbly request to save us from these auto valas and their rash behaviour.
Please atleast tell me the process to request for new bus service as many of colleagues are ready to request for APSRTC service in this area.

Auto Drivers are a menace to this otherwise peaceful city. Refusals to go to one place, not putting the metre, asking for one and half charges apart from meter even in morning 9.30 am or evening 6.30 pm, or just any arbitary fare for a ride. If you happen to be a non-Kannada speaking person, you are sure going to face these issues. May be these auto drivers and their unions are a constant source of support for any or all political parties, so even the state government is scared to take any strict actions against them.

Auto Rickshaw Drivers — saying no for destination
hi, my name is Ganesh Akunuri, a citizen of mumbai, i live in andheri east, unfortunately i dont have my own vehicle so far so i have to travel more often using autorickshaw, taxi and bus. After a long time took a break from my busy schedule got in with my parents and siblings to go to Juhu beach, while coming back it was a disaster as there were huge population waiting for the transport but all o[censored]s had to walk all the way till Mithibai college after which we could get rickshaw, i being a very young person i can walk but my mum cannot and neither can my sister as both of them are BP patient and both of them had to go through a low BP. As a citizen i only want to ask you want kind of measures can i expect as a citizen of so called Mumbai, what kind of co-operation can i expect from you. Auto rikshaw drivers jst nod der head whn askd for Vaishali nagar. it takes almost1/2 n hr to 1hr approx to gt an auto fr our destination. Old people do face lot of problems due to same. Most of dem do not take fare bcoz of Share Consumers but if asked for the meter they say "sirf 1 ko lunga" i mean if we r wid r family i need 2 do 4 diff rikshaw... And some toh do not rply any thing and jst run der empty rikshaw. req u plzzz Take some serious actions against da same... I hope u'll surely take some action... Thank u...

Auto Rickshaw Drivers — Auto Rickshaw drivers refuse to take seats of khambalpada area
Autorikshaw drivers refuse to take seats of khambalpada area (autostand is near municipal office in dombivli)Its daily issue that drivers refuse to take khambalpada seats... people keep waiting for half an hour or more than that... I have some Autorikshaw numbers...MH 05 8125, MH 05 6261, MH 05 5909 and there are many more.... Its really distressing that only one in 15-20 autos sometime agree to come khambalpada as well tata power area...
I request the corresponding autorikshaw authority to look into the issue and resolve this ASAP.

Dear Sir / Madam,
This is Srinand Madhav from Dombivli, Mumbai. I need to lodge a complaint against the auto rickshaw drivers in Dombivli. on 14th July'09, Tuesday i along ith other 2 people boarded auto number MH 05 D 5215 from Dombivli Station to Model College. But, after getting inside the auto at the auto rickshaw stand the driver refused to take to our destination & parked his auto aside the road & told us he would not like to go to Model College. We also decided not to get down from the auto unless he takes us to our destination but he said in any circumstances he would not take us to our destination & started abusing us in filthy language. He was not afraid of any Police Case to be lodged against him. This situation is seen seen daily with 10-15 innocent people who arrive by train in the evening at Dombivli Station.
I kindly request you to look into this matter & try to solve this problem before the situation goes out of control between passengers & auto drivers.

Myself Anant from Dombivli,this is the big problem that every citizen of Dombivili is facing none of the rickshaw drivers are ready to passengers to desired location and if anybody tries to question for what reason they wont be coming they will be told that they are not in mood to go there and it is there wish to take the passenger to the location where they wish to go not as per the wish of passenger.we young people can even go by walk but what about old people and sick people they even don't care what is the situation of the passenger.
i think even a person is dying on the road also they will be not willing to take him to the hospital if they don't wish to go there.
IT IS A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM IT HAS TO BE INTERVENED BY MUNICIPAL AND TRANSPORT AUTHORITY (RTO) VERY STRICTLY.
