Hi http://Booking.Com, i have made my booking approximately 15-20 days back and i was asked to ensure booking i have to update my card details to confirm booking... And booking was done and confirmed too... I had booked the place for 6-7 july 2019... 2-3 days back i updated the arrival time and also sent a text just to confirm i will get what ever was promised one the booking... As we had planned things accordingly... And this morning as left from work i opened the app to share details to my friend who were traveling by self to the property... I discovered that my booking has been cancelled by the property stating that they can do any thing and a number was given to contact... I did call on the given number... And spoke to care taker around 5:00 in the morning... He said that they can not take are booking and i need to look for an alternative... Last minute cancellation i have half the ppl on the way and and half leaving... We had book a vehicle to reach the destination.. Did shopping as we had planned to cook by self and now all is wasted... You are a booking website and know that getting last minute booking is so difficult and expensive too... I request the property guy to make some arrangements he said that he can’t do any thing we need to contact you as i have booked the property from you guys... He has nothing to do with it... It’s website lookout... I tried calling calling ur customer support too but the wait time is too long... Some how i managed to connect to you guys over the phone and i explained my situation to one of you representative he said that he will contact the property... After some time being on hold he came back and informed that the property guys is not answering and his phone is switched off... He said that he will look for a replacement... And any extra charges will be bare by http://Booking.com.

Well after the incident i have asked all my friend to go back as we had no place to go...

I am requesting you to get me some arrangements for next week and it’s... It’s been an inconvenience to all 18 members who were ready for fun and excitement and it’s all crushed cause of this last minute cancellation... I am sorry to say but it’s berry disappointing...

Hope you will u understand and do the need full..

We had already spent for vehicle and purchasing groceries...

Looking for a resolution with some compensation or discount...

I really appreciate that you have looked for a different option... but let me explain you the situation again ... my teams work in the night shift and I we all carried out required luggage to he office and let office at 4:30 and had requested a arrival time as 7:00-800 am at the booked location... half of my team was at the station to take train to the boomed location and for others we have booked a cab as we had other food items and grocery that We was suppose to carry... Morning 5:30 I checked the message sent by the villa that they can have our booking and call on the given number... I called the number and explained by situation... and he directly asked me to contact u guys... I was continuously trying to get in touch with your team over the phone but I was on hold for quite some time and then the call dropped and tried again and was on hold for about 10 minutes and then again the call dropped... I was able to speak so some one on 3-4 attempt after waiting on hold of about 15 minutes and I guess that was around 6:00... if you could have given me option even at that time I would have asked and be in position to go and reach the detonation which is about approximately 100 km from Mumbai... I had no choice but tell ppl to go back home as we had no place it was raining and no place to wait back... I did explain this to the person over the phone as well he did said that he will look for relocation and will get the adjustments done for next weekend Saturday or Sunday. As I did not get any reply I had to post message on the app and also I posted this on Twitter and face book and now ur sending me text that you have an alternative.. but it is of no good for ur... I would request you to get me booking for next week as it’s not mistake I trusted you mr website and booked the place and added my card details just to ensure that we have the booking confirmed and in last minutes the booking was cancelled.. the option you have given is not good for me and my team..

I am requesting you to get me booking for next week with the same budget and some discount over that... it’s v disappointing... if you are unable to help me on this I will have to escalate this matter which I would do for sure... also I will post this on social media os that people know about this...

    I am writing to you to raise an issue about: online travel agent

    The issue that i have experienced was: we booked our hotel room named 1-br guest houser (Ad5d) mussoorie 2months ago through booking.com website. They even confirmed our order, but didn't provide us their contact info and address. We tried several attempts to contact them but they never answered. Even 2 days before our check-in when we contacted them, they said to give us info but, they didn't. On june 11th 2019 morning, we mailed them to extend our check-in time and they accepted it too but when we reached mussoorie to check-in, they cancelled our booking 15mins ago by giving us the reason that rooms are over booked.

    It occurred on: 11/06/2019

    This meant that it ruined our family trip, and it costed fortune to everyone. It affected our train tickets, other hotel bookings and vehicles charges reaching mussoorie.

    We want our total refund and extra charges which costed while traveling to mussoorie for the hotel as soon as possible and an apology from them.

    I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by trading standards, i would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

      I booked for a dormitory for a month of may, 2019. Note that no prepayment was done by online booking. On the day of arrival, i was asked to pay half of the total amount and half later as requested. But, when entered upon the premises and provided with the room, nothing was same as the pictures portrayed, no cleanliness and the bathrooms and washrooms were a total mess. Within 1 hr of realization of the same, i requested for a cancellation. But, no cancellation on the part of the place was done. They asked me to send the cancellation to booking.com but the site didn’t even provide for my trip details in the trip section and neither was it reachable on call for any such grievance. Hence, cancellation became a big deal where i was found helpless at the end of the day as they required me to pay the 15% commission for cancellation and 500 Rs. for just 1 hr of check-in which by the way was a total misrepresentation on the part of the booking.com in showing the wrong pictures of the place.
      Regretted booking from Booking.com for the first time as i was harrassed even to pay or face consequences. And coming to an unknown city to face such issues was not a great experience at all rather a mood killing and full of harassment experience.

        I booked a hotel in allepey to stay between april 11 to 13 of 2019 through booking.com and the name of hotel is vrindavanam heritage home. I booked the air conditioned room for stay as per the description provided in the website. The price for it is 1980 rupees.

        But when i reached the hotel, the hotel staff argued with me saying that it is a non air-conditioned room and if i want air conditioned room, then i have to pay 4000 rupees. I went with my wife and it is night time. I just showed them the booking mail showing that it is air conditioned but they refused to give me.

        So finally i paid 4000 for the same room which is not fair to me. Because the misinformation is from their side and i paid the penalty. Please review this issue and i request to raise a complaint on them and resolve by refund my excess amount.

          I received a refund of approximately $500. The money was put into my wallet on booking.com when i try to put the money back on a valid credit card i keep getting notices of a technical problem. My card is perfectly valid. I have used it for several bookings with this company. Now that i prefer not to use it towards another booking i keep getting technical problems try again. I have talked to customer service several times and have even tried re-entering my credit card. This is my only credit card. I am becoming suspicious that i am being undermined in order to prevent me from withdrawing the money. The company does not have one person helping you with the issue and keeps referring you to other customer service reps. Please do not use this company and go through the hell i am being put through right now.

            I had made a booking in fab hotel silver in in noida from 18-2-19 to 21-2-19. I duly checked in hotel & checked out on 21st feb. While checking out i paid charges due to me & asked for bill. I was told that it will be sent by email.

            When i inquired about my bill from hotel later on, i was told that bill will be given to booking.com site only as they had booked the hotel. Other sites such as makemytrip never had such issues.

            When i logged in booking.com site, i was surprised to see that my hotel booking has been cancelled. I sent complaint to them for sending me my bill but no answer. I submitted complaint in their system but again no response.

            When i called them, they said bill will be sent to me by hotel itself.

            I do not know now how can i get my bill for claiming reimbursement. Is such a simple thing so difficult or them? If so then what is the purpose of such web site?

              Made a booking through booking.com for ratna palace in ahmedabad in india. They have sent a confirmation mail with the details. Due to work had to check in the evening, but upon reaching the hotel, we were informed that the hotel has no tie up with booking.com and they have not received any intimation about my stay. When i tried reaching the customer care, very conveniently every indian number listed is switched off. Was left stranded searxhing for hotels at the last minute.
              When i reviewed my experience on their website, they sent a mail rejecting my review for reasons unexplained. Absoultely pathetic service and response.

                I have booked on booking.com in kodaikanal. They asked me to pay a advance for confirming the reservation. Later they call me asked me to cancel the booking and they would refund the advance. I did not cancel the booking. Later when i tried to contact them over phone or email to plan for my trip. None of them were answered. So, i had to cancel my booking within the set time for free cancellation. I have made cancellation on a hotel and booking.com confirmed the cancellation was free.

                When i called them for refund, they argue that it was a no show and i did not inform them about the cancellation. When i sent them the screenshot from booking.com showing the cancellation confirmation, now they say that the cancellation does not cover the advance paid.

                On contacting booking.com there is no response.

                  I was searching in google for a hotel online at munnar on 31st december. We found a villa in munnar tea country resort for a price of ₹ 5, 085.37 if booked through www.booking.com, while other websites were charging more than ₹ 9000.
                  We went ahead and booked the villa for one night. After the booking we received an email stating we have to pay additional ₹ 2000 as peak season mandatory supplement, ₹ 915.37 as gst. So we called up the hotel, they said apart from all these charges we have to pay an additional ₹ 6000 for mandatory gala dinner, that is around ₹ 14000 total price instead of ₹ 5, 085.37.
                  Booking.com were not advertising the hidden charges before. After raising a complaint with them they changed the displayed amount to ₹ 7500 in google, which was ₹ 5, 085.37 before. They declined a refund telling refund should be requested before 14 days, even though booking was done on 23rd of this month.
                  I feel i was cheated by the website by hiding the mandatory charges which the hotel is imposing on customers (Not sure how a dinner can be made mandatory!!!). I would like to get a refund of the amount that the website charged us.
                  I am attaching the confirmation email from the website and the email from the hotel. Please help us in this matter.

                    I booked a hotel via booking.com & guesthouser. They told me our rooms were being renovated and they would relocate us to another hotel. The other hotel is also listed on booking.com @£10 (Sri ramakrishna, mahabalipuram) per night - our hotel which i booked and paid for is £67 per night! The booking.com confirmation reference is [protected] & pin is 3594. Essentially they’re ripping us off. I am trying to get reimbursed but no success yet.

                    In hotel citiheights at chandigrah it is booking. Com who deceived me as i had never ever had so trouble cheating in this booking i want complete refund or if not
                    Then give me mail id of your chairperson i will directly resolve my issue from your top management besides expose my experience to youtube

                      I want to lodge a complaint against www.booking.com as my credit card 5593*4939 amounting to inr 7927 was illegally debited on date 12 dec 2018 and the credit statement mentions booking.com as the beneficiary and i don't remember mysel[censored]sing the above mentioned credit card to book any facility from www.booking.com website/app.

                      Kindly resolve the matter as now they are not responding to my emails stating to mention booking reference number upfront which i don't obviously possess.

                        I have booked the Boutique room in Ooty, by GuestHouser 26308 for 19th oct to 21 oct 2018 via Booking.com.Due to some reason we were late and I had shared my late check-in details to the property via booking.com .I tried calling the property several times, nobody picked up the call. The customer service of booking.com also responded late.
                        I wanted to show my family a good time in ooty and what I showed was 4 hrs of searching for rooms at night after arriving in packed Ooty where there were no rooms available at all.After struggling, at 11.30 PM we got a lodge that was so miserable for which we were charged 6500 for that night.We had to pay double charge for the dinner that night . Next day again we had to struggle to get another room with higher price obviously..This was the worst trip ever for me. We got less time for sightseeing than what we expected.The sad part was my parents were with me in this bad situation. This is all because we didn't have a room to stay. I got the refund of my booking.But I want compensation for the extra charges paid and for the trouble my family went through.I would have booked some other place if informed earlier. I want an explanation why did the property cancelled my booking. How could they cancel the booking at the last moment.The booking.com customer service is not responding via email.So I have came here.

                          I have booked hotel reservation for my self and my mother from booking.com website and i selected sai sharan hotel at shirdi, check-in date 30th mar and check out on 31st march.
                          Booking.com has sent me email confirmation along with pnr and confirmation details stating my hotel is confirmed and contact number of hotel was mentioned. When i called sai sharan hotel they denied my booking stating there is no reservation on my name.
                          It was shocking for me and last minute i have to hunt for a hotel in hot sun with my 62year old mother, she cannot walk long distance and because of roaming in sun her health had gone for toss. Ultimately i end up in paying double the price for hotel.
                          Booking.com should stop this fraudulent practise and cheating customer by sending confirmation email to client.
                          Why booking.com is doing this non sense.
                          This malpractice should immediately stop.
                          So one will not face inconvince.
                          Booking.Com is a scam. They even dont have a contact number in india, their website list one telephone number in mumbai which is never working.

                          They cheat people by showing attractive tarrif, and after obtaining card details they close the booking with higher amount, if you cancell your card is debited.

                          This company should be kicked out of india or made to work ethically

                            Our horrifying vacation to hampi
                            Me along with my friends had decided to go for a vacation to hampi it being a huge group hence after a lot of consideration and deliberation i and my friends decided to book our reservation for our stay at the hema guest house, hampi, through booking.com because of the astonishing rates that it offered and also the fact that we could pay even after arriving at the destination.
                            Please find my booking details below:
                            Check in date: 24th november 2017 (Friday) and check out date: 26th november 2017 (Sunday)
                            Booking done on 5th october, 2017 vide the booking.com i phone app.

                            Now comes the outrageously dreadful part. On arriving at the hema guest house on friday, 24th november, 2017, to the shock and surprise o[censored]s; the authorities there informed us that they had no ties with booking.com since dussehra (30th september, 2017) and that no room was available, while the booking.com app still flashed my confirmation number and had no signs of any cancellation from anybody’s end. I booked on 5th o) ctober, 2017 therefore there was enough time for you to inform me about the fall out. It was a misleading act to still show the property on the app after cutting off ties with the property. I am attaching the screenshots of the same for your perusal.
                            We were literally in a vulnerable state because having booked almost one and a half months prior for the stay and going to the destination and finding no accommodation was something that we had not anticipated or predicted. Till we reached the location, i had not received any phone call/email from booking.com or from hema guest house informing me about the situation. We had to waste the whole day convincing them to accommodate us somehow and had to incur triple the cost for getting a single small room (For 2) and not the family room (For 5) that i had booked. Also they mentioned that they were unsure if they could accommodate us the next day. It was a scary situation because all the other places around were either full or charging us a whooping amount. We engaged the services of booking.com with the hope of a hassle free, memorable stay which turned into a financial nightmare met with constant physical and mental stress. Because of zero network at hampi, we could not even contact anybody including the booking.com helpline.
                            I don’t see how booking.com was of any aid to us because nor did we get the place at the rates cited on your app nor did we receive any information from your end regarding the cancellation or the fact that you do not have any ties with the guest house anymore. You cannot let the customer suffer on the account of your internal issues with the property. Booking.com failed miserable in executing its duty and has shown gross negligence in disclosing material facts.

                              I have cancelled my reservation for neemrana hotel, jaipur through online booking.com site on 14th august 2017 with 0 cancellation cost. Reservation id is [protected] (Pin code 5244) at neemrana fort palace. From the booking.com i received a forwaded mail copy of neemrana fort palace (Harish yadav from the room reservations) confirming that on 23rd august they have inititaed refund but from the sbi credit card statement i got to know that it's still pending. I have sent many emails to booking.com and hotel. But noone is reverting it back. Kindly solve the issue as early as possible and refund back the money.

                                I booked hotel MB International at Mysore with Booking number:[protected] dated Thursday, October 15, 15 for a stay during 1 Jan-8 Jan, 2016 through Booking.com. As per the booking condition, the hotel was supposed to provide 1. Minibar, 2. Hair Dryer, 3. Electric Kettle, 4. Seating area. However, when I reached the hotel I found all the statements are false. None of the above was provided. Secondly, as per the booking conditions, the payment was to be made through credit/debit card. However, on 8th Jan, before checking out they told that the payment is to be made in cash. As I was not having much cash and 8th Jan being a day of bank strike I had to suffer a lot to collect the money. The booking confirmation sent to my email is attached herewith as .jpg

We made a booking for 7 rooms for travel on 25th Dec 2015 to 27th Dec 2015 We had received a confirmation from www.booking.com on our [protected]@rediffmail.com, 1st booking Id[protected], Pin code-1673, 5rooms for 2 nights 2ndbooking Id[protected], Pin code-3534, 2rooms for 2 nights Total 7 rooms. We have sent a copy of the mail received from www.booking.com to the Hotel Royal Orchids at Brindavan Gardens, Krishna Raja Sagar, Mysore. on the 1st October 2015, and also there was a telephonic conversation of the booking with the Hotel and they said yes it is confirmed. There was another telephonic conversation with the Hotel on 18th October and yet it was confirmed. So on 18th Dec 2015, as we just called up hotel to inform about the check in on the 25th Dec 2015 for 7 rooms booked. The Hotel instantly refuses us that there is no such booking, we were shocked to hear that as there were 2 telephonic conversation with the Hotel confirming the booking. Now we contacted www.booking .com, they also said the hotel is not available & fully booked. So in this condition after receiving the confirmation of the booking on 03.08.2015 from www.booking .com, also confirmation over the telephone twice from the hotel. we had guests arriving from Delhi, Kochi & Hyderabad. So on the basis of above www.booking.com is not at all responsible, today being such a big travel portal, it is their duty to look into the matter very seriously. And the Hotel is least bothered, they just have to say there is no such booking. We appeal to the higher authorities to take the necessary disciplinary action on both the www.booking.com website and the Hotel Royal Orchids, at Brindavan Gardens, Krishna Raja Sagar, Mysore. And reply to us.
                                  I had booked OYO room through booking.com at Munnar wef 10 Feb 18 to 12 Feb 18. I was confirmed the booking through e-mail. However, on reaching the hotel (Hotel SN Munnar), I was told that only rooms booked through OYO app are allowed and I was denied due to over subscription on that day.                                     Sir, I was searching hotels in Goa at the website of booking.com on 20th September 2015. When I filtered my search of hotels in Goa by name (holiday inn) of hotel, hotel with name Holiday Inn was displayed on the website. But this hotel is located at two places in Goa and in USA. As I was searching hotel in goa why did the website displayed the name of hotel in USA. Because of this error I wrongly booked hotel in USA. On 22nd of September I cancelled the booking wrongly made in USA as I am not travelling to USA rather I am going to Goa. But the hotel has charged US$ 84 for cancellation of booking. I requested the hotel and booking.com to refund the amount so charged. But they have refused to do so. Kindly register my complaint against booking.com and the hotel in USA (Holiday Inn at pavilion-Myrtle beach USA).
                                    booking.com is a scam, they display tarrif without tax and highlight some message showing number of people booking this hotel at this moment and that their tarrif is the lowest, and play with persons psychology . after the unwary traveller punch in the card details the booking gets confimed at actual price which is including all taxes.

                                    they might mention somewhere in tiny alphabets about extra taxes but if you miss to read, you pay through your nose ... and if you try to make complaint about it ... 1st thing that they do is to debit your card for the full booking amount and you can catch them nowhere ... they dont have any contact in INDIA

                                    Govt of india should make it compulsory to display tarrif with all the taxes so that unwary traveller is not cheated by these multinational companies
