Regarding Order #J2T51J on box8.
This is the second time this month that I am having this issue with BOX 8 guys.
I did not get the order but it was marked delivered.
I put up the correct location, but BOX 8 delivery guy is reaching some other location.
If these guys cant serve in my area u can deny initially only.
Don't take some address and send your delivery guy to some other address and mark it delivered.
i paid the full amount and they have marked it delivered.

Not responsive when required
Hello, I am Pragya Suman from Delhi. I have ordered from box 8 (Zomato) (#4OAZGB) and I got burnt wrap, overcooked with salty & smelly wrap. When I did complain they asked photographs for verification then I gave it to them . After that they refund 300 rs out of 700rs.. that means my 400 rs was for waste. This is box 8 service.. I will never gonna order from them . Thank you so much for your service

I ordered paneer do pyaja but chicken do pyaja was delivered to me. I am a pure vegetarian and I realised it was chicken after having a bite. I is a blunder and will not be tolerated.

Food marked delivered but not received
I placed Box 8 order through Eatclub. After sometime, the order is marked delivered but did not receive the order. I called the delivery person. He said the order has been accidentally been marked as delivered, and I will have to talk to the office. But there is not official number to contact them, only chat. When I explained them the situation, they keep on replying that I will get the order and they are not saying anything else. After about an hour the delivery boy number has been switched off. They also clear the chat and start with new chat every 5 minutes.
Order date 7 April 2021 7.55 pm. It has been more than 2 hours, and no track for any.
Delivery person name - Shoeb Ammaji.

No response after ordering food

I ordered food with zomata on 6th of August 2020 at 8.57 pm, after ordering I waited for 1 hour but the food didn’t turned out, no one from zomata or box8 was courteous to call about my order, my wife was not well so we plan to order food from box 8 and my kids were hungry and they were cribbing for food, Box 8 contact nos are not working Phone:[protected], so why the hell you are open and taking orders, after talking and chatting with everyone I was extremely disappointed, I won’t spare Box 8 and and your partner Zomata as well, will start a negative campaign wherever possible. Also I would like to add your chat staff is extremely shameless, rude and uneducated, I have the name of the person whom I have spoken to and the guy whom I chatted with but let it be, if the service is pathetic of Box8 so what do the you expect from the staff.
Same is with Zomata, the chat staff was extremely rude, will stating about refund, he was talking as if though he is favouring me
Deadly combination (Zomata and Box8)
I will escalate the issue to the next level to your co-founders (Mr Amit Raj and Anshul gupta ) who commits wonders

I am coming delivery guy
I have ordered a pizza from mojo which is at dhonori Pune at night on Dec.3.2018 .
There were two guys on the bike and it was between 10:30 and 11.today I got a message from a guy who was really talking in that way which I wasn't expecting.first a fall a customer's no. Should be secured and should'nt be misused.you have to take some strict action against this.otherwise I have the right to sue the company accornding to consumer protection act.this is so much disappointing.

I synced my contacts to get 150 box 8 money like the way it is mentioned in your app but i haven't got this yet. I called your customer care and they said it will reflect in 72 hours.
Very bad experience - you guys should have mentioned this in app that box 8 money will reflect after 72 hours.. I as a customer was thinking i will get immediately and i can use and order but since you have made this mistake of not updating this in your app this has caused bad 1st impression.
Please improve.. I'm going to give this feedback on ur app in all the ways i can.

product not delivered in 3 hrs/no support from customer care

Ordered a chicken salad from box 8 with tracking id h237gk at 9 pm and choose the option to deliver it in between 10.30 to 11 pm.in 2 hrs no communication from box 8 around 10.50 i tried to contact them. First in chat they told me product is out of stock. I hav ordered it at 9 pm and the order was confirmed bcz the product was in stock how can it be out of stock. I was starving at 11 pm called box and was lucky enough to contact them after 15 20 mins. Person at support told same with no intention to help asked to him to contact the store after holding for 5 mins he said he is not able to contact them. I asked him to call manager or any employee of store he refused. Asked him of any solution he refused. Asked him to give call to his senior or manager he refused. I told him i am goint to store by myself to check order and told him to remain on call he refused. At last he cut my call without any solution. Here i am writing this at 12 am starving and feeling cheated.in between got a call from box 8 and the cancelled my order. But a refund of my money can not compensate my hunger which i am facing right now. Waitimg for a positive response from your side and the last option for me after this is to go to consumer court.

Ordered full meal where menu says all in one including rice + dal + partha + dal makani + puneer tika + gulab jamun the menu says 248 with 40% discount. where as I left there was no discount on it. When we receive we found there was no rice in it. when asked they said it's add on but the menu says with rice. please do not get anything from box 8.
I placed an order at 12:30 AM on July 26, 2019 at the Dhanori store. After 1 hour of waiting the store cancelled the order and no explanation was provided. Now I have nowhere else to get food from. This is what I get for trusting BOX8. Ahhhhh!!

Yesterday i ordered food from hinjewadi branch. Had the worst experience.
Ordered food was stale. I had to admit to hospital due to non-bearable pain in my stomach after eating their food. I had to suffer for 5 hours of excruciating pain. My bp went up and was a very very bad experience.
Need to take strict action against the company.

delivery did not happen in 38 mins

I have ordered from zomato marol, mumbai to sakinaka at 1.02pm and have not yet received the order at 1.40pm. I have paid online and i think the oreder should be free now. And also they send me a msg after the time has ru out that the delivery will be late. And this is a major issue i faced twice after doing online payment, if we do cash delivery the order is delivered on time. Quite sad.

The delivery is very late . But the major problem is the tracking system of the Box8. I hope they upgrade it to an on-time GPS tracking system, so we can track the delivery agent location. The cash was paid online, and there is no assurance of tracking the delivery agent even after 1 hour of "supposed" dispatch shown on website.

Please set the delivery system in place and then run the show. When you have incapable delivery system then no point in giving offers and cheating the world. My 1st and last with Box 8 - ordered placed @12:35 pm and @ 2:30 pm the delivery man is still showing me castles in the air stating he is still on the way - my hunger is dead and so is my impression abt Box 8. ppl out there beware of these guys. The customer service team tried to convince me by giving food for free - let me tell you guys 1 important thing "I am no beggar to eat free food, I am my own boss I wanted food while i was hungry and not after its dead"

I have ordered rice fusion box without onion garlic and mashroom. I received box stating it has no onion garlic and mashroom. Still inside the box i got onions... Very bad experience.. It iss matter on religion and trust.. But u people broke it..

I placed an order on box 8 bangalore from hbr layout of an dryfruit overloaded ice cream. They cancelled the order. I asked them why did they cancel. They told me its not in stock. I ssaid why do you takeyour orders when you dont have products in stock. Then the guy who was on call got emotional. He told me to tell my adress and that he is coming to kill me. I am really scared plesehelp me. Thisguys no is[protected]. If anything happens to me in next few days he is responsible. Please help. I am not a local. He will kill me.

I never think their offers are for real. Because each time they come with an offer, they are really making customers to purchase more. I'll share my experience for the month of june-july: 1. They introduced the umbrella offer for 400 initially and then reduced for a minor order of 300.
2. Then the 100% cash back where u get 50% as box8 money which u can only use to buy from box8. The worst part is that the minimum order for using box8 money is 300rs where u can use 100 rs worth box 8 money only. To use more than 100 for e. G. When u get 150 cash back (Box8) to use more than 100 the order should be 500. Eventually customers are spending more to get the offers….
3. For offers like monthend and payday where u have buy one get one offer they put up a message while ordering through app stating : the order for the concerned store is high so either you increase your order value or wait for 15 minutes. No way customers can avail the offers as per the offer messages sent by box8.
There are many more fake offers they are marketing which anyone who is willing to spend extra money for average quality and low quantity food can avail. I don't have the confidence to expose the cheap marketing techniques of 30 iitians (As they say) but with confidence i'll tell if anyone wonders why box8 shutdown in 2018 please read the post i have made in quora on this day….. Have your stomach filled 108% or pockets empty…

Box 8, money deducted from the bank and Box 8 refused to deliver

I ordered from Box 8 on 14.05.2017 at around 11.30, after the payment to the bank, the amount got deducted, there was no confirmation message or email. So i called the customer care, he told me that the order cannot be placed because the money is not credited to their account. I told i've the transaction ID which i can share with them. But he is not ready to place the order and misguided that the bank will refund my amount within 24 hrs and asked me to place a new order. In-spite of money getting deducted from my account, y should i place a new order?
I asked him to connect to his manager. He told that his manager will call me in 20 mins, i did not receive a call from them also. i again called to the customer care, she asked me if i can place the order now? After 2 hours of money getting deducted, and they refused to place the order, Should i still be waiting after 2 hours so that box8 can place the order. i ordered from a different one and got it delivered on time.
That money is still not compensated to me nor there was an order nor refund later.

I had ordered a pepperoni and a chicken pizza.Order number
The chicken pizza was fine but the pepperoni pizza used stale meat. We immediately complained and asked to send another pizza in replacement.We waited for someone to arrive to provide a fresh pizza and take the stale one.First of all box 8 is serving substandard food, stale meat can cause a health hazard, but no one is responding to that.The pepperoni pizza sent again was stale...Why is no one checking the quality of the ingredients used...This is appalling.

I had ordered food on 31 dec 16 at 22:27 hrs and box 8 delivers the same in 38 mins. But the food was delivered at 23.45 hrs and cust care executive even not behaving properly. On 31 dec my new year got wasted and due to late delivery no one ate the food too . It was very cold when delivered. If it was cash on delivery order then i might not have paid too. Money got wasted and very rude behaviour of cust care executive

I had ordered four all-in-one meals. There was an issue with two meals. I had ordered paratha base they served rice base. Also, for the complimentary they give choice between chole and dal makni. Instead of chole they served dal makni. Despite of the ordered being wrong they did not replace the order. I have screenshot of the order placed online and the bill given by them. This is a complaint regarding the order no ZBTBNA. The Complaint Is Regarding Delivery timings and delivery guy who promptly denied to deliver in time.
My order time is 8.51pm. This is 10.30pm while I am typing this email. The delivery guy promptly denied the delivery of the order without prior reasoning. I have been receiving orders from BOX-8, in the past successfully and this is the first time this has happened.
Even after explaining the address to the delivery guy, he denies the order and says in a very rude tone saying - "order to aur aadha ghanta lagega, aapka address galat hai".
More half and hour means 11pm and I guess that would be 120mins vs 38mins of your commitment.
I asked him the name and he said it's Sameer, but I am not sure if that's his real name. The number he called is [protected].
As I type now, 10.37pm I have recieved the order. I asked the guy name and he said it's Rocky and not Sameer. I asked him who is Sameer and he said there no guy named Sameer. The another guy accompanying him is Rahul
Request you to please take strict action against the Delivery guy and the delivery timeline provide us an update.

Money deducted two times, but food delivered once

I ordered food from box8 and paid online the amount. First time when I was paying, the app got stuck, So I tried paying the amount in another transaction by closing the first one.
After some time I got to know that first transaction amount is also got deducted.
Now when I called them for this, They are saying no two transactions happened and they asked to talk to Bank as they cant do anything about it.
I am now worried as in where my amount has gone. How to get back my money from them

Non-receipt of refund of late delivery

On last sunday I had placed a order on Box8. As per its terms and conditions, if any order above Rs 300 is delivered after 38 mins, then that order is eligible for free delivery. My order was matching their terms and conditions.The order was delivered after 100 mins. I called its customer care representative, who had assured me that the refund shall be done to my bank account within 2-3 working days. So far I haven't received my refund. I request the company to make the full refund + penalty charges for the delay in refund and the inconvenience & disturbance caused to the consumer. The refund should be strictly unconditional and to my bank account and not to Box8 wallet with any terms and conditions.

I placed an order via foodpanda on box8. Since my registered number on foodpanda was no longer in use, we called box8 restaurant - marathahalli, bangalore to update contact information. We also confirmed the ordered through call. The manager said that the order will be delivered. But we had to for 3 hours at night and the order was still not delivered. The restaurant never picked up the call either. Next day morning, i called again, but in vain.

I have order for pizza and some more food items and pay through net banking after getting confirmation mail i receive a call from there customer care stating due to some technical difficulty they cant deliver to my place while past few order i received at the same place.
Regards to this issue i send mail to customer care for my money which is taken but no response is coming. I have send 3-4 mail but no luck neither customer care no is connecting.

I had placed two orders with BOX 8 tracking id F95G5A and 4IJ0F3 considering there were guests at home and then i get a call after 15 minutes informing me that the orders are cancelled and the refund will take place in 5 working days and that they do not deliver in the area i live. This is totally unacceptable and the person i spoke to was unapologetic and told me that these lines are recorded and there is nothing he can do

This is the 4th time I am facing same issue. I have placed order 1 hour ago but its still not delivered.
Agree that your 38 minute guaranty condition is for 300 rs above order. Even last time as well I faced the same issue. when i asked delivery boy for 150 off he told me to contact box8 office I called no one answered my call.

I placed the order on 19th april, the person was there in time but the vegetable can was open and it was all inside the plastic bag.
so ii asked the person to cancel the order or get a new one, to which he did not said anything and ran .
i had to saty hungry that night as i have ordered at 11.30 pm.
the next day complined to the helpline, they were srry for it and said will get the food in 30 minutes .
they even provided me with a copoun code that says that if i order for 450 get a discount of 300.

i gave a call again they said in 10 minutes.
again after 30 minutes the food was not delivered and than after another call i got the food in 30 minutes..
the condition of the food was also pathetic.

Box 8 — Bull shit box8.... Worst experience.. Fake..
Box8 is the worst outlet . pathetic people ..pathetic Services. I had to call them 8 times, after that for 3 hour's I didnt get my food. I am not at all sorry to say this.
Today i ordered a murg biryani at a price of 250/- which is not even worth of 2 Rs.
Whenever I order something i used to have it even if it is okok. Till date there is no such incident which I wasted the food. But today I have ordered Murg biryani which is pathetic.
Basically i am a fooddy guy who always likes food. I used to have food four times a day. I am not a like guy who will eat just for life. It's my passion. I will enjoy in that way. I always respect those guys who will give good food even though I know they are charging at a higher price than the market rate but itsfine.
But you guys are don't even deserve a place in this country to live a life forget about running a hotel or restaurant. I am telling you, hotel or restaurant is not your cup of tea. Try something else where you can earn only money but not respect.

Worst Service. I was waiting for just 1 pizza which took about 1 hour & 42 mins until the time Me & My Kids almost lost our Hunger & felt asleep. The delivery boy calls up for address confirmation from the Outlet after 92 mins and 30 mins after automated message arrived saying that my Order is on my way. Finally at 12 midnight i have to ask him to cancel the order to the manager Sameer.
Also I was waiting for my order and tried calling the customer service which kept me waiting and saying " all the Executives are busy at this moment" from the beginning to the end of the order. In short nobody attended my Call.
Alaas !! My family and me slept Empty Stomach that night :-(

Box 8 — Food poison due to your stale food
The food supplied by you for nearly 4500 students was unhiginically prepared. So nearly 150 students were treated and some of them admitted too at hospitals. You people never showed your face at hospitals. Shameful people and irresponsible business people. The workers of Box 8, Empire Estate, Chinchwad, Pune-411019 ( dated- 02/05/2016) playing loud music and using very noisy crackers at 12 at night ?? I don't know what sort of mannerism is it ..

Worst delivery ever. Placed an order at 2130, called at 2245 to check about the order and customer care say order has been cancelled with no reason. Checked with the concerned store manager at veera desai and he is unaware of the order. Bloody fraud company!!! order is either delivered in hours or never delivered. Fake promise of 38 mins or free. This is the reason why stupid startups like these wil never survive in india or anywhere else in the world.

I had ordered something to my address.they delivered it without spoon n fork . It's pretty clear if you are at a office you don't carry these stuffs.Used to be a regular customer.But this is the final time I have orderd something..
