Problem with the door

Dear Sir,
This is regarding our fridge having the double door. The lower door does not close properly and hence the cooling is effected and the things are getting spoiled.
Can somebody attend the problem over the weekend as both o[censored]s are working and there is nobody back at home.

Spurious parts supplied by BPL to its Service Centre
I have been complaining since last one month that my BPL Fridge is not working due to spurious timer put in it. Needless to say that the part was supplied by BPL itself to its Service Centre, situated at Tinsukia, Assam. The Service Centre is telling that they have already sent indent of new timer to the company, it has not yet reached. How much time will it take ? One year ? Two years ? If they can not provide proper service to the customers, why don't they close the company and engage themselves in Bhajans ?!

BPL Fridge — Supply of spurious parts by BPL
I have been complaing that my BPL fridge is out of order for last one month due to spurious timer put in it by BPL service centre, Tinsukia. But nobody is paying any attention to it. Is anybody alive there? I am complaining for the last 20 days that my BPL Fridge is not working as the timer replaced by the Service Centre, Tinsukia, Assam, is found to be spurious. As the Service Centre told, the timer was supplied them by the company, i.e., BPL. It is unimaginable that BPL supplies spurious parts to its Service Centres !
The Service Centre also told that it has already forwarded requisition for timers to the company, which, in turn, has not yet sent the same ! I wonder, from where is it coming ? From America or Canada ? Is this the way a reputed company like BPL runs its Service Centres and responds to the complaints of customers ?
Is there anybody alive to look into this and do the needful at the earliest ?

My name is Mr. Prashanta Kumar Rout. My house is at Bhubaneswar, Orissa. Before 6 Years I purchased one double door BPL Refrigerator from Rajpath Motors, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar. Now due to some problems my Fridge is not working. For that I am facing so many problems. If BPL Company will give me good service then I will ever grateful to the Company.

BPL/ Fridge — Not working
Sir!My name is KMK Chand, I have BPLFridge, of double door,180Lits, purchased in 1998, in Mumbai, It was giving very good service, no problem, now it is not working, I need help from your service centre, the compressor might have developed defect, that is why it is not working. my mother called sanyo /bpl authorised customer care center perfect services
shop no 1, wz -49f, budhela, vikaspuri, new delhi -110018

mr balvinder service manager took the complaint
they send mr RONI ph [protected] to my house 996 / 7 main bazar mehrauli new delhi-110030 on 08/05/2009 time 11.00 am
on observing my fridge it was found that censor was not working properly, but he changed the timer also,
despite my telling him that censor was changed last year also .
when i saw the receipt there was no sl no . ... no receipt no on the receipt
and it was amazing that it was already written on the receipt what he had changed i.e. timer and censor .
i feel cheated by the customer care engineer
despite talking to Balvinder, he says if you want to complaint you can go ahead .
i feel my fridge timer was in ok condition

Such unscrupulous companies (and there are large number of them) are cheating the customers and also avoiding payment of taxes.
I feel that the Indian system is heavily loaded against the ordinary consumer.
The govt machinery seems to be hand-in-glove as it generally pays lip service only to theconsumers and actually does nothing tangible about the menace. When the official machinery does not want to act, it will find so many reasons why its hands are tied and in fact may even end up blaming the powerless victims.

No Spares available
I have got a BPL fridge model No. BR 3002. The gaskit of both the main door as well as the freezer door is cut & needs replacement.
As I cannot find a service center or spare part shop for the same I am forced to disconnect the fridge.
Please let me know where I can get the same

I have a Bpl Double Door fridge. The door channels are totally broken. i have been looking for two channels(Both upper & Lower) at the service center at Bhubaneswar, Orissa. Since last one the Service Center people went on saying that Bpl company has already shut down and no spares will be available further.
What to do ? ? ?
